  1. Tire size 245 are 31" and 255 are 32" and 265 are 33" that's what the guy says at the tire place. He also said the numbers change for the tread pattern like street vs a/t vs mud tires. Mud tires 245 are 31s and 245 a/t and 245 street tires are not y is that i don't know?
  2. I have a 87 with the 3.0l and my dose the same thing kinda. Starts around 35 to 45 mph when i let off the gas but when i give it gas it stops and runs fine. Only happens at those speeds so the trans was a rebuild and i have about 50,000 miles on it and do trans flush when needed so I don't know y they do that?
  3. good wright up I need to do everything on my 87 pathy also. The Nissan deal wants 900 to do everything. I don't Know how to do a timing belt or i would. Water pumps and things like that i can do but not sure on the timing. I have the old style 3.0l and if you do have it right it will blow so i,m told unlike the new 3.0l where it just stays out of time.
  4. Has anyone put the pan hard bracket on a 87 pathy. I see it fits 90s and up whats up with that? Are the holes off a little bit or whats the diff on the years?

  6. After spending some time on this websit i'm finding alot of info about everything , and it sounds like people are not happy with Calmini. I'll make my own stuff for my pathy but is there anything i need to know about making my own brace. Any tips?
  7. I just wanted to say thanks for all the help. I want to try new set of front coil springs that i got for free. 4" id and 2 3/4 at pig tail and 18" high. I have new Calmini shocks on order and wanted to try these springs out. I just didn't want to tear a brake line and i wanted to see if i had to do the drop for track bar. thanks again for the help. p.s. ill do my best on taking the right measurements for the rear coil spring spacers.

  9. If I put a lift on my pathy do i need to put a rear track bar drop in and do I need to put longger brake lines in also?
  10. If I do a lift on my pathy would i have to put a track bar drop in the rear? If so is Calmini the only people that make them? i'll just make my own:) I order the shocks and there back order of 3 to 4 weeks dose that sound right coming from them. I hope i dont get crap lol
  11. Bangs Canyon was a blast to bad only 8 people showed up. We need more people in hit the trails.

  12. I have a 87 pathy with drums in the rear. I found a 88 pathy with disk in the rear. I pulled the axles out of the 87 and 88 and swaped them over with no problems. You need to find the same years of suv like 86-89 wd21 90-95 wd21 same with the d21 trucks or r50. You will need to change the brake lines and e brake line will need to be removed and reinstalled with other e brake line on the new axles. It's easy to do if you like to work lol. Make sure you have the engine running when bleeding the brakes so you don't get air in it and it's a vacuum set up so remmber that. You will not get a hard brake if the engine is not running. It's more work to swap the hole axle housing if you ask me.
  13. Need more people in Colorado to join me in some 4x4 trails

Good luck with that. I think here in washington, be have the largest amount of members, but only a few tend to go out on trail rides. I keep offering though!

People should not join a club if they do not hit any trails.

  16. It would be nice to see a Dana 60 for the sas with coil springs front and rear with 4 link. Dana 44 are not worth putting under the trail rig if you ask me.
  17. dose anyone know if the front coil spring off a 09 rubicon will fit my 87 paty? 4 inside and 2 3/4 at the pig tail 18 1/2 long.
