im sure you could take a small switch and how that wire up to it and installed one yourself

I would just take the senor out and put a washer or 2 behind it and put it back on lol

way to go man that was brilliant! I now have a working speedo! only problem is today for some reason it started fine when i went t oschool then wouldnt start when it was time to go home just clicked. test battery i think my starter took a @!*%

I had this problem in both of my pathfinders! before you go mess with the motor please try this. Mine would go down but not up and it was the rear passenger one. WHat happened on mine was water leaked onto the front window control switch on the drivers door and corroded the plugs .I could parly see that it was corroded so i clean both sides and connected them to gether and I did the same for the other 3 switches just to make sure and what do you know it fixed it! I figured it wasnt the motor because i took the motor out and repalced it with a new one and it still didnt work so then i cut the wire and then fliped the pos and negative that go to the window motor and it would go up if i fliped them back then it would go down so it was obviously a problem which the switches. SO check the connections with your door switches

yeah i saw they had the blue bulbs but when i tired that my needles turned blue i even painted bottom red and not the original white

question ofr you guys. how do you keep the needles red when you change the bulb blue

mine have all been 5 speed i dont like autos

my 93 pathy SE have over 200k on it before the timing belt broke and it was in great shape! Feel bad for not taking it off

the loud button is worthless. you sholdnt have to use that for bass if you have your system setup right. Like he siad he didnt have money to replace things so buying a different deck isnt a option. you shouldnt even need to if the current one has rca out. All amps have settings to tune the bass and how much you want. just turn the bass up on the amp(not all the way). The loud button just amplifies the bass and adds way to much to the point where it sounds horrible. and it can also wreck your stock speakers pretty quick they arent made to handle that much bass. If anything get a different amp

i have seen a few pathy latly in mankato and have noticed a few that were built up. there are quite a few that arent but i know for a fact a few of them would join o consider it because its obiovious they off road with it

so when you push the lock button you just hear a click noise? what happens when you push the drivers side one down manuallly? do they all lock then? If so then take the door lock buttons out and clean the contacts maybe its just corroded or something. Also see if there are any fueses somewhere i havent looked at mine in a while.Do you have keyless entry?

o ouch that stinks i hate theft. But yeah check and see if the loud button is off on the cd player and turn up the settings on the amp and you should get some decent bass but notihng over powering

Well I dont know as much about the newer pathys but my guess is on the deck there is a audio out on the back with the 2 rca ports correct? If you have the audio coming out of this to a rca cable and back to the amp for the subs then you should be ok to turn the bass all the way down on the cd player and turn up the gain on your amp for the sub. Also make sure the "loud" button isnt on on the cd player. Having the loud button on will definatly add way to much bass. Mainly just turn the bass off on the cd player and turn it up on the amp. this should put little to no bass out of the door speakers and all the bass should come from the sub. thats what i have done in my 300zx and my pathfinder. Works great for me and can go extemely loud! Taking the basss away from the door speakers allows you to turn the volume up more with out distortion because the sub is taing the beating from the bass and not the door speakers. Hope that helped if not i must not have read you question correctly quick q what deck do you have and what is the wattage for the amp? or just give me the model numbers for everthing and i can look into it deeper. normally i would just use a 2 channel amp for subs. I think 4 channel ones are made more for speakers arent they?

O ok so i got my dash all working now i got a replacement speedo for the cluster with almost the exact same miles as my truck. Now I need to replace my speedo cable itself because it spins but stops as soon as any pressure is put on it. (DO you think its the cable or the gear in the tcase?) I was looking at how i am going to get the cable off and it appears to be right behind the intake plenum. Is there a way to get at it with out takin the intake plenum off? I am not really sure I trust my self tearing that off lol. I was able to get the one screw on the drives side off but there ae still 2 screws that are right be hind the plenum that need to come off and i cant get at them. If anyone has a tool that they have used or a way to get them out let me know and i wil go that route. I really need to get this fixed. Also if anyone thinks its the gear let me know so i odnt need to go through this and find that out haha. Like i said ifi take the cluster out and drive the cable is spinning but if i touch it with my finger it quits spinning.

mine kinda does the same thing but to the right. I pretty sure it does it on mine because my left brake calaper is seized up and isnt braking so only the right one is and that pulls it to the right and also makes it dip. check your right brake and see if it is working properly. Mine doesnt seems to be it is constantly rubbing the rotor and doesnt seem to compress and decompress that much
