  1. Yeah, this really sucks. Fleurys better not disappear on us.
  2. I purchased my lift "kit" from 4x4parts.com. I could have saved a lot of money by getting the shocks (Rancho) and struts (KYB) from Ebay. I wish that I had shopped around a little before clicking the "purchase now" button on that $$$ site. Get the springs from them but, look around for the other suspension components.
  3. NOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo! I have been following your posts/rig since before I registered here. We need have to find you another R50 mang!
  4. Yeah, what gives? That annoys the crap out of me.
  5. That's one way to access your windshield washer pumps! Forgot to ask, did you remove the wheel well plastics or just cut out the same section?
  6. I have yet to go wheeling (4x4) by myself. I have always had at least one other truck with me to get ourselves out of trouble if one were to get stuck. Here's a link to a thread started many years ago of members here sharing what they keep with them at all times. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/12044-what-do-you-always-have-with-you/
  7. Are you holding the can upside down and shaking it viguorsly while the system is running? If the system has been completely discharged, I'd think that it would take more than one can of freon to fill it back up.
  8. I love seeing newly lifted R50's. That is a nice color scheme you have going.
  9. I had a locksmith tool my keys from looking at a bar code located inside the door card of my Geo Metro (yep, big pimpin' back in the early ninety's). One had broke off in my rear hatch and the other in my ignition. It was cool, yet scary, to be able to open my hatch with a dime and start the car with a flat head screw driver.
  10. There are step by step instructions printed on a plastic card on your drivers side sun visor.
  11. Swap the cap with your buddies R50. It'll show up on his rig if it is the problem and it will save you about $20.
  12. I like the location of your on board air. May I ask about the cost and how you ran your air hose?
  13. You can mark this experience down as a future helpful comment to one of us when we go through similar issues. Thanks for your update and keeping NPORA worthy!
  14. Looks like it was fun. I can't help but watch your (ex)2wd Pathy on trails like that. It must have one happy soul!
  15. Scale and deposits build up over time in the entire cooling system. They will eventually flake off of the internal piping and clog up in the radiator plumbing as it is smaller in diameter than the rest of the system.
  16. +1 on the swaybar end link. Try grabbing it and see if it moves freely. Can you make the noise by rocking your Pathy from side to side while it's stationary?
  17. That kind of rational has crossed through all of our heads. I just hope that all of the rational people reading this had the same "wow, that wasn't so bad" results as you!
