  1. Keep a bottle of degreaser handy and don't forget to park on a tarp or, at least have a drop cloth to catch all of the PS fluid. I had a dang mess. Also, I picked my own rack off of a '96 QX for less than $40 (after I brought back the old one for the core ... $10 IIRC?).
  2. Rusted like that here in the dirty south? Something ain't right 'bout that. I'd soak them down over the next couple of days with some penetrating oil (PB Blaster is what I'd recommend) and try again later? Tap them with a mallet before you start to pry could help as well.
  3. Ha! Yeah, now all he needs are some glasspacks and a roadrunner emblem on the back windows.
  4. Damnit man. I'm always 1 gigawatt over. Clearly why I always go past the future I guess?
  5. So, all we need is 88 mph and 2.21 gigawatts to ask said OP?
  6. First we flame members for not using the search feature. When they do, we flame them for it! (I'm guilty too) For the record sroeser01, I went with two sets (two camber bolt per strut) and have had success. Some other active members here have not (for reasons none of us can figure) and have slotted the top strut mount holes so that they could manually angle them. If I could do it again, I'd just slot the top bolt holes and save some coin.
  7. These guys have me convinced the nut was cross threaded as well. That looks like the proper AC spring to me.
  8. I don't have the measurements but, I have this pic of the front AC spring next to the factory spring it replaced ..
  9. You are reading too much into your post. I don't think your retarded at all!
  10. Took it around the local state park lake a couple of times today.
  11. Boom goes the dynamite!

No, Boom goes my rear end.

  12. Absolutely. However, the VG engines are interference motors. My luck has pushed the boundaries to the point that I've had one TB jump timing and the replacement broke. I'm still hitting on all cylinders and am counting on my luck. I'm not betting "all in" any more. Try advancing/retarding the dizzy to see if you can find the right balance.
  13. I would but, the camber would eat the inside of my treads by the time I reached Arizcalifornexas (where the heck are you?).
  14. At least, we meet for the first time for the last time ..

  15. What he said ^^^^ You can check your valves by purchasing (or borrowing) a compressor gauge. You should read in the 120-150 "ballpark" if I remember correctly? My wife's timing belt broke on her Honda that resulted in bending all of the exhaust valves. I opted to change out the cylinder head from a donor motor in lieu of purchasing a new motor. The next time a TB breaks on one of my cars, I'm going with a new motor as it would be way easier than going through changing out the heads again.
  16. I'm still scratching my head with that one. I wish I could have parked next to your rig to compare our set ups.
  17. Where's the "rodent" setting when you need one?
  18. Mine does on my '99.5. I'd assume it should on your '92.
  19. Pictures might help. I don't think I understand what you are describing.
  20. 1 kit = 2 bolts. I have two kits so that I could use two bolts on each strut.
  21. I've used two sets (on bolt on top and bottom) and have little to no camber issues. I'd be more concerned with the tow as that will eat your tread much faster.
