Just a thought .. Are you absolutely certain that the leak is not from a coolant line in your intake plenum? Aren't there multiple coolant hoses all over that area? I'm not sure about the Nissan VG / VQ engines but, my wife's Honda Prelude had some circulating around the cylinder head.

Dang it man! I listen to your video and I end up twenty minutes later watching cruise ships getting rocked by massive waves. I was originally thinking that you might have an issue with the rear drums trying to do the auto adjustment with the breaking in reverse. I don't think that is the cause though. Heck, I've only posted this much since I've now invested twenty minutes of my life with your Youtube post.

Nice job so far. You guys are proving that the R50 is very capable to mod with the right tools and " know how".

That is incredible. How does it feel to the touch? I mean, can it be sanded down to smooth the surface? I know right? Some people even like to play with the filters to make the pictures tint some fancy shmancy colors.

That's really good. Does the '01.5 have the VG33 or the VQ35? -

Talk about character. That thing looks like it's been through the war. -
Wait, I just looked at the pic for the fourth time and noticed a yellow jack stand on its side. B is correct, the soft ground and angle of the slope are most likely to blame. I'm thinking that he was using ramps to lift the rear off the ground and had the jack stands towards the front. Is it possible the jack was used to angle the motor to gain better access to the tranny? I've never removed a transmission before.

I swallow my masculinity and drop the rag top of my '92 Mazda Miata for my DD. 32 MPG at 20+ years of age. Talk about fun? My little "Black Magic Woman" is a blast to drive!! -

I've scrapped metal before. I didn't think of that. I know that with my lanky butt in the captain seat and a small trailer was in the 6k range. -

Anyone with 18 wheeler knowledge know if the scales cost money at truck stops? I'd like to see what Vajay weighs "as she sits" now. -

Yes. I carry a spare (same part for both driver and pass sides) that I kept from my old steering rack. Well, it's currently in my tool shed but, if/when I go wheeling again it will be in my tool bag.

I stand corrected! I had to adjust my cable slack a couple of years ago due to the drum brakes wearing thin. I just had my buddy replace the drums. I need to ask him if he readjusted the cable as the parking lever feels about the same as before.
