Hello Guys/Gals I have been thinking of making some sort of attatchment for those Bolts on that crossmember. Most people don't want to drill into there vehicles so the mounting holes I have are on all the models from 96-04 will stay. I'm thinking the other few inches over larger bolt holes these would be on the top. Well some customers have the Brush guards, that would interfere with using them. I actualy redesigned the plates after, as that's exactly what happened the plate interfered with the brush guard. I still have the old design on our pathy but most of my customers have the new design which is compatable with the Brush Guards. So all my Champion skidplates are now compatable with Brush guards. If somone happens to crunch the 10G Champion skidplate I will give them a new one. The way I designed these Champion plates are very strong. If a customer hits something when offroading and this happens the whole front end would be smashed up and this person would of been going at a very fast speed. I will see this weekend as I'll have the pathy in my garage so I'll see what I can come up with. I am also working on a tool to replace those nuts in that crossmember as one on the end spun. So if this happens in the middle good luck right now trying to tighten the Bolt. So when I get this tool finished and maybe the attatchment I will send those pc's to all my customers that have the Kits. See I'm not changing the design just making it so shearing will be harder to do and if it does happen easier to replace the bolts and nuts.

You might want to add c.b's or frs radios hand winch tire chains (depending on muskeg or heavy snow) tow strap question you have chainsaw and gas powered chainsaw I'm under the assumption you cary an electric as well Other then that you are far the most prepred day wheeler that I know of. When I go out for some local afternoon wheelin I bring me and my tow strap and cell as there is towers locally.

Get this though same motors but the Rodeo has a better warranty then the Chevy's haha
-
Chevy makes Isuzu they bought them out awhile ago. As the Isuzu was a nice truck until I read that and they have Chevy motors. Ya no thanks. Good Luck Vengeful

From M.B Canada. I will be starting them in Oct-Nov I can fit them here but would like someone to test them out if they do allot of offroading. Thanks,

Well what's a 05 Fronty worth new down there as I know the prices are allot different then here.
-
You know Dan the new Fronty comes with a rear locker Well hope all goes good for you which ever way it turns out as sometimes inscurance companies can be hard to deal with when it comes time to pay.
-
So who all offroads there 05 pathy's I'm thinking in the late Fall (october) I will be making full skidplates up for these but no one around here offroads there 05's Well let me know I need someone to test these plates out. Thanks,

Our 03 Pathy had to be done at around 50,000Km's. The dealership did both as they said why not there both on warranty. But he took them off and showed me how the rubber was cracked and torn up. But drove around with it Thunking for about 4 weeks.
-
Wow! Sorry to hear about that Vengeful. I'm guessing here but if were held on by Rivets then a weld is stronger. You might just want to post some pics for we can gauge the damage, might come up with some type of an idea for you.
-
Again it is the stabalizer links that are making this noise.
-
Yep just that, that other Pathy is Blue and closer to the edge.
-
It's the front Stabalizer bars. Had the same problem. Well sounds the same as what your describing.
-
I would say ask in a Yota Forum as they will know the specifics on their trucks. Here's a link Toyota Forum

Ok before you tap it. Try an easy out this will take care of most sheared off bolts. This way you can just ream the hole with the existing threads. So punch it (make it a good one) Next take a small drill bit drill in it aways. Now take your easyout and it will come right out. This is the easyway to take these bolts out.
-
Wouldn't they have the same amount as the stock rails which would be 12 or do you have to drill?
-
Well I'm putting it into the R50 class because 1-same engine 2-same wheel base width and the length 3-C'mon let the 05's in
-
Nooooooooo pleeeeeeease How about the 05 Xterra's as they are closer to the R50 then the new pathy's???? C'mon it will be :cool2:
-
If you wait Pezzy they will come..................... :Magic: (In the late Fall)

Oh have to clarify most people don't know but here it is grade 10.9metric =Grade8 standard grade 8.8 m= grade5 standard So I make sure on my site I use grade 10.9metric bolts. I upgraded all my bolts for my skids when I found this out so I have many 8.8 kickin around haha hope this helps
-
any Bolt supply store Just that with that much pressure on them you might want the 10.9grade and make sure you get them zinc coated as this prevents rusting to a degree. Just curious the sliders did not come with mounting hardware?
-
Hey Vengeful make sure if your putting sliders on get the 10.9 grade zinc coated bolts.
