  1. Wo buddy :o I'll Take that as a bit of sarcasm well whatever. No I didn't prep anything. I should of checked it out before I went, not to bright as it was getting dark and was raining also I was pulling a boat so I just wanted to get out of there. Like I said it was a short treck and didn't get any water damage. I do have trail pics of most of that trip, I do intend going back next year if it's not as wet as there was great fishing at that lake Your welcome to join me next year note the trail is not for the faint of heart Like I said I would not at this time have need for a snorkel as that was a one time thing, and I will not be making a habit of it. Well here is a pic of the pathy going through another trail that at parts went over the hood edta1 and no didn't prep here either just thought I would let you know.
  2. I think that if you do alot of high water crossing that would be the Bomb! The thing is they will go through high enough water that most people would cross. I had mine just over the front of the hood, now mind you I didn't think that it was that high and it was a short treck as no water entered the cab. I do think that would be a nice acc. as for the R50's for the people that would want one but at this time I don't do that deep of water crossing to install one.
  3. Hey guys, Here is the front skidplate not finished. Changes might be a middle bend also the obvious is the mounting holes then that will be it.
  4. Ok so here is a pic of the rear plate for the 90-95 it is not finished yet as I am needing another pathy for the day for I can confirm some of my bends & such, so I can get the holes in the plate.
  5. just a test here as cardomain is the only one that like to be accepted
  6. Never mind the link Herm I checked out your site. Thanks very informative.
  7. Where can I get the Old Man Emu lift this would be great!! Pass a link on thanks Hey Herm an easy way that I saw to get broken bolts out without the use of an easyout is after you hit the sheared off side with wd40 take a chisel & tap it counter-clockwise out. This method works alot easier and faster then using an easyout. Thanks
  8. Ok wasn't going to get a lift but I think when I install my ARB sahara bar my front end is going to drop, I don't know how much? But any amount really sucks so I am going to need a lift just a minor one (2"). So where else other then AC's can I get one for the R50 pathy as I have seen some damage that I prefer not to happen? I know L&P but at $650 that doesn't include springs just spacers that's alot of $$$. Wouldn't mind paying it but 650 no springs So checked out calmini and I couldn't find any for the R50 so my offroadin Bros let me know what you think or if you know of any large manufacturer that is going to start producing some quality lifts for the money I would be very interested!!!
  9. I guess it is a tad different in Canada? Chilkoot- base model as in no sunroof,no pwr seats and it has a pinstripe I think everything else is the same though. SE- No leather, no power seats everything else LE-Leather loaded all options, That's about it in Canada. They all have LSD
  10. I e-mailed them at AC's with the link to the damage caused by those spacers see what happens
  11. Hi there tkh329, Hope you enjoy this Forum in the Future I really like Yota's too man they go forever my brother has close to 400,000km's on his 88 4Runner the thing still runs like a charm. He also does alot of back lake trails that are pretty wicked. On that note his 4Runner I think was about 2 years old he put a winch on it and had to use it to get into one of the lakes that I went into with my stock Pathfinder (except skidplates), and I didn't use a winch and I was also pulling a heavier boat by a 150lbs. I have a 03 Se and to this day he can't believe it, thank god he was there as we have had one of the sloppiest summers ever. The pics of that trail getting to the lake is on my Gem lake pg on my trail pics link. Would of bought a Yota but here in Canada they have set pricing & I totally disagree with this cr@p! But I am happy with no regrets after the Pathy pulled through a bunch of times now when I venture off the beaten path Hope this kiboshes the thought of these trucks can't offroad
  12. mmm I wonder if SkyJacker will produce a 3" or 6" lift for our Pathy's then i would get a lift
  13. Hey 88pathoffroad would you mind if I posted those pics on AC as I think it would save alot of people some grief
  14. Man I missed out on all this sounds like it would of been kinda interesting You know all's I get is american T.V and there is alot of vulchers out there that would do this and just want half or something lol
  15. Holy cr@p :o Hey 88pathoffroad have you posted this on AC's forum and let them know what has occured? If so what did they say? Can you get your mula back as this has caused alot of damage ?
  16. Ok does any of you guys live around here? Maybe you ca help me out here. North Dakota,South Dakota, or Minnesota. Thank You
  17. Well I am starting to make skidplates for various trucks & Suv's now as I had a good response with my first ones and people asking if I can make them for there truck. Can you send me a couple links that sell rear skidplates for 90-95 pathy's. Just seeing what they charge? Thanks
  18. So I am thinking :o that underneath is the same as 90-95. Since I have seen both recently they look identical without a tape measure is this true If so I will skidplates for you guys too within the next couple of weeks. If not I will try to get an older Pathy(wish me luck) as there seems to be none at the wreckers or Dealers. Thanks for the info.
  19. Hey guys, Just thought I would let you know that I am almost done my prototype. Taking awhile as I don't have a Pathfinder available. Prototype should be ready next week. So I should have some pics up. Both skidplates are made out of 3/16" no bracket bar needed but rear skidplate still will have cross break. Pricing- Well no Bracket Bar was needed so it should be Cheaper then my other skid plates. Well working on that but so far front one should be relatively inexpensive. Don't know about rear skidplate, yet as I'm going to need another Pathy so I need to find one. Took a bunch of Dimesions but still need to get it exact. Make sure it fits. Bottom line should have some pics by the end of next week
  20. I have a 03 and run The MTR tire size is 255/70/R16 which gives me just over 1/2" more of clearence. Stock size I believe is 29.4" and new MTR size is 30.9" Just thought you would like to know there is no rubbing at all and I have put them to the test
  21. Well I am taking a trip to Seattle boys I am going to see if that ARB will fit. Ahh it's only a 18hr or so drive. So just thought I would let you guys know as I will be getting it fitted for free & they are knocking some mucho Denaro off Just hope it fits
  22. Yes it is open to the public Going upto Nopoming Park in Manitoba. There is some trails/back logging roads up there that I would like to go & check out. Some go to back lakes, others are old logging roads that don't go anywhere, others I have no idea where they lead to. Some of the trails should be pretty muddy as we have had alot of rain this past summer. It will be a whole day event. Be great to have another Pathy on the Trail So far a # of people confirmed they are coming. Should be interesting & fun! Hopefully see you there.
  23. All the pics of the day are on pg#1 and some are on pg#2. Here's the link check it out http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/608653 At least we drove out as 3 tires were pretty much buried at one time she drove back, and fell into a huge hole the rear just went down :o . Didn't think we were getting out at that time. But man those tires are kick a$$! I am getting a mixed message from dealers of ARB one says it will work others that have called them says the Bull Bars are only for upto 02's any info on this? I have set up a trail run in Oct so would be nice if I had that new Bull bar if it will work Thanks
  24. lol Ya brought that up with the mrs already I was going to make a pushbar but as seeing it isn't ready and I'm trying to get some other skidplates going I'll just buy the Bull bar if it will fit my 03. So if it fits she wants it purple oh ya!
