  1. You would think with that low of miles they wouldn't even ? about exchanging the Pathy for a new one. With the 4 Nissan dealers I have been to 1 has been ok the others are just useless.
  2. Not sure what you mean statikuz. So if you want to explain giver. I think after I come back from my trip I'll try to make something up as I have some ideas on it.
  3. I had this with another thread but I think it needs it's own. Is there a reason why they don't make pushbars that can hold winches for our Pathfinders. I think I maybe needing one. I know I can't buy one but I might be able to make one if there is no real reason for this. Who knows maybe another production pce in the making. Any reasons or suggestions you might have would be appreciated. Thanks
  4. Hey Big Johnson, Can you e-mail me blackpantherorders@mts.net a bunch of pics of the holes that are used for the Grill guard is it where the front tow hook bolts are ? And where you had to trim the plate? Then I can make it so no trimming would be required if you had that Guard. I am picking up a Guard or making one in the next couple of months so kinda does me no good right now for fitting purposes. Thanks
  5. That just reminds me that I have to get windows tinted. You know having my front windows tinted on my jeep saved my face from being cut up. That's a pic of my previous suv. Rolled around 5 times. I'm very lucky
  6. I have alot better rates on my shipping as I kiboshed the whole warehouse idea as it was to good to be true. I am using UPS Canada. 4 days shipping time. I am still updating pics and clearing some ?'s up that people have. Should have website updated by tonight or Sat/Sun. Talk to you later
  7. I put the factory hitch on myself and there is 4 holes on each side and not to much play if any. Maybe that hitch is bent  . I had the shimmy problem took it in last time they Balanced front wheels a couple times and now it's gone. Mind you they bal. them before a few times and it still had that Shimmy.
  8. Well thanks skrillaguerilla for that I was just trying to finish it up so I guess I just overlooked that. Thanks First time at doing this, but it was kinda easy with this program. Should have some good pics of the Superskid this week if everything goes well at the powdercoater. Take some pics then shipping them out. Thanks boys
  9. Hey guys check out the New Site that I just built http://www.blackpantherskidplates.com There's some new pics of the 2 pc plate still updating as I go along!
  10. Here's the connection of the 2 plates. Thanks to everyone on this Forum for there input
  11. Ok had the wrong host so let's try another one. Well here it is boys. I am going to publish my new website tonight so should be up by Sat or Sun all new pics of this SuperSkid plate and Shield will be on there. So here it goes for the second time. I am finally Done!!!!!!!!
  12. Figure I will post here first as this is where it all began. Ok, I will have pics for Thursday if all goes well. First off I have changed the SuperSkid into a 2 piece. The reasoning for this is for one, the 1 piece is pretty expensive to ship with not alot shipping options. So resizing the box will make a big difference. Reason #2 is installing the 1 piece is alot more difficult then the 2 piece. Now I made indents how they connect it will be flush. Was going to go with channels instead of the X bend but the SkidPlate shown on my site is only 12 Gauge (reason for the flex) Now I have this one out of 10 Gauge it is alot heavier and with a deeper X bend. I will have this finished on Thursday. I have made a new site but will publish it within a few days under the same name just waiting until I have all new pics ready. The 2 piece skidplate wasn't going to be out for awhile but after going over both designs this was the better of the 2 and I think it is more flexible in the way of purchasing. Well let me know what you guys think :type: Sorry about the long wait on these SkidPlates.
  13. Big Johnson you have a PM. Yes I can ship to Canada 2kPathInCan. The 2 peice skid is going to come out later on down the road, not immediate future as I will see how these takeoff. Thanks
  14. Ok my reason that they are being powdercoated is that I am going to be storing them in a wharehouse down in the states, and when I get orders I will be shipping them out from there. Now if I had some that were not painted you probably would not be happy & people would be upset when they get them. So no. This is to keep shipping cost down, this is why I am offering 3 colours to choose from. If you want a specific colour let me know and I can probably work out something. The paint won't make a difference in price as I do 1 for the same price as 10. I hope this kinda helps.
  15. I have some pics of the Sheild......But i don't think that's what you want I will have some pics next week of the SuperSkid I will post them. Short week for us
  16. Ok guys the Sheild plates are pretty heavy. The purple one that I had on was 11 gauge these are 10 and what a difference! Fitted them today and man they fit like a glove . Now for the BigBoys well these should be ready to be powdercoated next week . Sorry about the wait, but I had to get those holes perfect center so this Superskid will line up, for easy installation.
  17. I have 32000km on the Pathy and it still shimmy's and the wheels have been rotated and balanced.
  18. I noticed that to, but I'm taking it in this week for the window seal so I'll ask them about the shimmy as well.
  19. I would estimate around 40lbs. Give or take a few lbs.
  20. My sheets cost me $180.00 4x12 without tax. 10 gauge steel. So no I'm not making a huge profit after powder coating and all the hardware and mounting brackets included. All the bending & drilling and so on and so forth. Did I mention all the welding of nuts on the mounting Brackets. kmgar99 I see your front skid it is alot different then mine. I guess I could do alot cheaper things like leave out the bends but then people will be pretty mad when they smoke their plate and it buckles under a rock or something. I have a saying if I'm going to do something do it right that is why this Superskid plate is taking so long. The idea of the Superskid ( covers oilpan & tranni pan)actually came from this board and after I went on my fishing trip, and almost smoked my oilpan. I refuse to send something out that doesn't work. Remember You Get What You Pay For I would put more detailed pics of the mounting bracket but I'm not completed the whole patten process, as soon as it's finished I will show everything.
  21. I sure will, I am just trying to get some better price on steel. If that happens I will have a lower price in 3-4 weeks when they are ready. Thanks
  22. The seal at the bottom of the front window could be loose causing it to let rain in this can easily be overlooked, only found out when she was driving on the highway and it started flapping in the wind. The front windsheild on the drivers side seal at the very bottom is also off. They are now ordering both the seals for the windsheild. Makes you think how long it's been driven with the seals not sealing and both of us not noticing
  23. Hey Senshido, thanks for that patient time frame. I'm in the same boat, I had to cancel a fishing trip because this skidplate took longer than expected . I will post pics on wed or thurs of the finished prototype on my website, along with pricing. Estimated time frame of completed superskid for shipping should be about 2-4weeks from this Friday.
  24. I'm in the patent process, with both types of skidplates. It should be done before I ship the first one out. Thanks :contract:
