For some reason I think the pre-facelift R50s look better SFDed (aesthetically) than the 99.5+

Update: Replaced the Micro FFs with 550s. The Micros were just looking too... micro.

Went wheeling again today.... PICS/VIDEOS

What were you getting stuck on near the beginning of the video? A tree trunk? -
F that BS.

Did. Can anyone ballpark how many people is enough? Also, the form says its purpose is for notifying us if Borla makes a part for our R50s. Is it also to let Borla know how many people are interested? Because it doesn't mention that.

Premium vs. Regular Fuel: THE ANSWER

Naturally. Though, that seems to be higher octane gas for the VQ. -
Premium vs. Regular Fuel: THE ANSWER
TooQForYou replied to Matt4949's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I have to wonder if some people add stations to that site because an ethanol sticker was peeled off a pump. BTW, don't even get me started on my hatred of ethanol Anywho, great thread! I can always tell when 87 is in my tank versus 93, and because of that I feel the negligible cost difference is worth it. -
Yeah, I just looked it up- it's a 4Runner here in the U.S.

OP, if you're willing to swap the entire front end, then it shouldn't be a problem. The thing is that the whole front end is interconnected and not mix and match-able.

Mounting lights on stock roof rack
TooQForYou replied to Towncivilian's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
The mounting hardware for those lights is supposed to be mounted vertically, which is why you can't adjust it to aim higher. Just sayin' -
Drilled hole on clutch plate, need rubber?
TooQForYou replied to Towncivilian's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Yeah I would recommend using a rubber grommet. That's what I did after I drilled through it. -
The prong towards the top in this pic is the trigger, the prong to the lower right is the switch's ground, and the prong to the lower left is the switch's power.

The light, medium, and heavy duty are referring to loads, not height from what I understand. IE heavy duty will give you .5" of lift with a heavy load, medium .5" with medium load etc. Naturally though, if you go heavy duty with no load then you're probably gonna get more lift. Tekaz, you could try ordering custom springs. I forget the company/website but if you search you'll probably find it.

Mounting lights on stock roof rack
TooQForYou replied to Towncivilian's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I just drilled through my roof rack. The curvature of the bar isn't a problem, just adjust your lights to aim correctly. I don't have any problem with light reflecting off the hood. The only problem I do have is that I have to shut the sunroof shade 'cause light will come in through the sunroof and is annoying, even with the lights forward of the sunroof. -
Would upgraded recovery points be the only other option?

How would I use a tow rope without hooks if my factory tow points are closed loops?

Like Precise1 said, another reason to have a snorkel is to get cleaner, cooler air. Lots of people in the outback have them for this reason.
-
This all seems strangely familiar...
-
Yeah thanks for your insight. A gun will probably last a lot longer than a lift. I still want to get a lift though. haha I think I may sell my drum kit. I don't play it anymore and it's taking up space.
-
I'm getting the gun, next week hopefully. Still going with the Ruger. I don't think I really need a 50 cal haha, and we're good on shotguns. .223/5.56 is a lot cheaper and more readily available than those other rounds.

Why does my windshield have vertical lines?
TooQForYou replied to RedRider3141's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
^ That's how mine is. Antenna only goes up when I listen to radio (which is next to never).
