Ok. Just got back from the J/Y. Didn't go as planned though. Yes, there were about 12 R50's there when I arrived. Only 5 of them still had rear spoilers on them. BUT the 5 that still did, the whole rear tail was still in new condition; meaning they never got rear ended. They were not willing to part just the rear spoiler on a "$700 tailgate unless you wanna buy the whole thing." Those were their exact words. Its a full serivce place so the guy drives you out to where the Pathfinders are they strip it off for you. I asked him how big the place was if he could give me a number. He said there are 75 acres here full of cars. The drive to the R50's took about 5 minutes. I managed to snap a couple of photoes while I was out there. Kind of a weird eerie feeling walking amongst the dead Pathy's. :sniff:

Yeah, I've had that happen to me before a couple of years ago. But I took it to the dealer and got raped for $85+tax to read the code and turn off the SES light. They said it was an EVAP code and probably because of a loose gas cap. pssd So $92.14 later, I was on my way. If you disconnect your negative terminal for a while. I left mine for half an hour and came back outside and that took car of it. If it comes back on right away again, then you'd start looking around at other possibilities.

Yeah he might have realized...but then again if it did go for $100, I doubt you'd hear from the guy. Preventing a negative feedback comment isn't worth the thousands of dollars they'd lose.

Dang that sucks!!! Whats the deal with the BJ's going out anyways? I've heard of lots of older Pathy's that have encountered this problem.

Yeah the easiest way would be to check the stock tire size as lewis mentioned, with so many options to add to different trim levels its hard to say. But digital compass and thermometer? That sounds like LE to me? My SE has no such thing! LOL

Yeah treywurst, I had the same idea about a few months ago. I set up a mIRC chatroom on a server and people were able to come into the room #NPORA. But the idea never really got too big as the most people to be in the room at a given time was only 4-5 and they were the same people. Its a good idea, I definitely agree. My reasoning was so that if someone was looking for an answer to a question, they could possibly do so right away. Or just shoot the breeze. I've been to websites that had a Java based web chat. I think thats a better way.

I'll have to bring my camera along with me to snap some pics. The last time I was there which was about a month ago, right as I was leaving, a 97 SE just showed up. It had some minor front end damage. But MINOR...I don't get it either. When I take pics you guys will see how large this place is. When you drive into the place, its all separated by different Domestics, imports, SUV's, trucks...but each yard is about a mile away from each other because there are so many cars.

Ok...look just like mine. I know for a fact they have them. Pathy rear spoilers aren't exactly a high demand item.

Ok...its good that you have a few weeks. I was thinking about going out there sometime later this week. I'm not sure what the 99.5+ spoiler looks like off the top of my head but I know what the 96-99's look like...black and metal...is this the same for the latter years? Yeah, I don't know what the deal is with R50's being so abundant over there. But one thing I do know is that, this junkyard is one of the largest in the NW. Someone told me THE largest..its believable but I don't know. I figure maybe since I'm going out there maybe I can fulfill some other requests? I know there are people out there who may need little knick knacks and goodies that may be found while I'm out there.

There is a junkyard 10 min away from me with dozen's of R50's. Haven't been there in bout a month but last time I was there, there was 25. I'm sure I could find one. I'll have to plan a trip out there.

Yeah I dunno about that story...maybe a little exaggerated...75mph? Maybe as it was being told over and over, someone added an extra 5mph for each time it was told. LOL. Regardless, if you hit something thats standing still, going 75mph, there is going to be damage.

It says Westin on the bottom of the page...thats weird because I recall seeing them for 96-99's in the a while ago in the past.

This one is great....about a month ago, I called to order a pizza. But my place is pretty much smack in the middle and equidistant from two different store locations. So I use my cell to call one place and figure they'd tell me ok or just give me the # of the other place. So the guy tells me to call the other place and proceeds to give me the number. Now everyone knows that you can store a phone # one your cell in the middle of a call...just by dialing the number and hitting "store" or save while the person is still on the line. "484" Ok I dial and say "484" "4344" he says. "4344..ok cool thanks." And I save the #. "Oh you know you gotta hang up first before you dial the #" "Oh is THAT how these things work?" Thats why you work at where you do my friend.
