1. Pezzy those are some awesome pics!!! I'm so jealous. But I'm glad you got the REVOs!!! I recognized them instantly. :cool2: Were they as good as I said? How did they treat you through the mud? I love the picture where all the guys are standing there checking out your "rear." :secret: :secret: :secret:
2. Looking good Pezzy! Can't wait to see more pics!
3. Just got back from 10 days in Maui. On the Central and West side of the island, it was $2.74 per gallon for 87 and we spent 3 days in Hana on the east side of the island which is pretty much a remote dense rainforest...paid $3.26 a gallon.
4. Well its too bad you're getting rid of them. :sniff: I think they look real good on your ride.
5. Vengeful, you read my mind. Just remember the kind of car you drive. I think thats a small price to pay to be able to drive a car off-road.
6. Let me know when you get them. I love the funky tread design. I have suggested Costco to everyone because their prices are right in line with tire racks. They'll special order them from Bridgestone if neccessary and that doesn't cost anything to the customer. From time to time, they also run rebates on bridgestones. Got mine for $130 a piece mounted and balanced.
7. And Pezzy brings a thread back from the dead... hi! I've been tire shopping - almost bought the BFG AT K/O's last night - but we have someone willing to help us out in a huge way (read: discount yum!) on Bridgestone tires... So now we're looking at a set of Bridgestone AT Revos... DJ Dank, It's been a year since you posted - I'm wondering how your opinion of your tires is holding... Wow, I was noticing that its been over a year since I got those. 15 months to be exact. They are incredible! I look at the tread every time I get in my car and it looks like the first day I got them. I've put about 15k on them and they still look brand new. Still a very very deep tread. I've taken them through mud, snow drifts, water, sand and some gnarly back country roads and they have NEVER let me down. The performance has been great. I'm definitely sold on these tires. I can see these tires lasting for a very very long time.
8. Nice to see lots of riders here. My gf and I both ride lots of gnarly trails. I have an Ellsworth ID with a Marzocchi monster T which I love and she rides a Kona Stinky. that has the junior T.
9. Maybe you guys haven't seen this picture...Maybe you have...but after seeing it I can't but only shake my head about the comment from the Dodge guy saying the Titan was feminine...
10. Good answer BigJ. I was just going to say. My stock tires were 265/70/15's. If you've already got 75 series tires, then you should not really notice any difference from that jump to 31's.
11. Yeah the drop in filters are lame IMO. You really don't notice a difference. Get a JWT pop charger if you want to add a couple of hp and increase your gas mileage a tiny bit.
12. Yeah the newer pathy's got the 16's. Welcome to the board!
13. Yeah I know of the instructions on how to turn the foglights on without messing with the headlights for 99.5+. That might work with when highbeams are on? Fog Light Independent Control
14. I used to have some bazooka bass tubes but they were only 6.5"s...cause I had them stuffed behind the bench seat of a single cab ranger. Subs in a box will always hit harder than tubes plain and simple. Gotta get 2 12's!

SAS Pathy

Yeah it looks great!
16. Yup, you are due for timing belt and water pump change. Wow, Dean you decided to register and join us!! Woo hoo!
17. yes 6x 5.5 or 6x 139.7 if metric. As for backspacing, I stayed with 3.75".
18. I'm running 2 MTX 6000DVC 12's with a Fossgate Punch 100 mono amp and a 1 farad digital cap and a Clarion DSP EQ. They rock and RUMBLE! My friend has 2 12" JL w6's and he told me that these hit harder than his.

TIRES!!!

I don't regret a single $$$ paid on my Revos. My tip for everyone is to go to Costco if you want the revos. They have the best price always. Better than tirerack and you don't have to pay for shipping if Costco has to special order them.
20. Hmmm...well I'm thinking yes they would fit. I am led to believe the 99 and 98 are identical. But one thing for sure though is that you need to get rid of those 3 spoke QX4 rims!!! I have NEVER been a fan of those. Reminds me of those old school 3 spoke ultras. How about these?
21. If you have a torch, you can heat the piping at the pivot point where you want it to bend. You heat completely around the piping and create a glowing ring...then if you have a long piece of metal pipe or something strong and sturdy...stick it in your exhaust pipe and start bending by either pushing or pulling depending on which way you want to bend it. I had to do that when I installed my trailer hitch...my exhaust piping was routed right by the tow hooks so when I put the hitch on, the pipe had to be pushed out of way and ended up leaning hard on the hitch. I was able to move it over a couple of inches. Another option could be also to heat the hanger and bend that with some pliers.
