I used a water pump from advance auto. That's been 2 years and 30k miles ago. No problems so far.

Trying airing down a couple of psi. Heavy tires and high pressure, the tires bounce like basketballs. The factory air pressure is 26psi. Nissan figures that air pressure when calculating spring rates and shock compression and rebound.
-
What size tire and air pressure?

That's what I was thinking. Thanks for the info.

Has anyone seen any kind of mileage improvement with manual hubs? Thinking about ditching the auto hubs and was wondering about any improvements.

Did a google search. Hope this helps. http://www.nissanpartszone.com/components/1994-nissan-pathfinder_spare-tire-hanger-570-1515.html -
10w-40 is way too thick on fresh lifters. It ran fine at first cause the lifters had oil in them from soaking. After that, very little oil is getting to the top end. 10w is cold weight, 40 is the weight when warm. Clearances are too narrow for good oil flow.

That's 3 really light coats of black. I didn't want to go too heavy and have the paint run.

Just installed a curt mfg hitch on my 95. I ordered it through rockauto.com. For the hitch and shipping minus the 5.99 discount, it came to 128 bucks. Just a heads up in case anyone was looking to buy. Part number is 13095

1 kit did all 5 wheels. If your doing wheels and guards, I'd go with 2 kits. Just use plenty of the clear that comes in the kit. I'm trying to find chrome center caps to go with the chrome lip.

passenger side. Dirty from rain and brake dust Spare tire.

I can take some pics for ya tomorrow. I just cleaned the wheels and used a tack cloth before spraying. No sanding of the chrome. Imagine black chrome if that makes any sense. Also the more coats, the darker the finish.

I used the duplicolor paint on my chrome wheels. It called shadow and is made to paint over chrome wheels. It gives it a black chrome look. I left the outside edge where the wheel weights go chrome.

My 95 would do the exact same thing. Ended up being the o2 sensor. When mine bogged down, the more gas you gave it, the worse it got.

Use 5-30. 10-30 is too thick when cold.

No it's the factory keyless and alarm system

The state of Alabama doesn't regulate it. Seems like everyone around here rides with there high beams on.

I wired my factory fog lights from the parking lights. I tapped into the corner lamp to trigger the relay for the fog lights so I could run them with the parking lights only or with the headlights. Didn't notice until I was done that when I arm the alarm with keyfob, the park lights flash like usual but the fog lights do also. Will that quick jolt to the relay and fog lights burn them out quicker? Sorry so wordy

My girlfriend washed my factory Nissan remote in the laundry. Changed the battery as it was rusted and replaced the battery but the range got worse and worse until it completely died. I opened the remote up and cleaned everything but still no luck. Can anyone recommend a eBay remote that works well with the factory system. Thanks

I was checking out craigslist and found this: http://gadsden.craigslist.org/pts/2125812065.html

Well I went to the junkyard and got a new speedometer assembly that is within a 1k of what I think the mileage should be. For the speedo, plastic cluster cover, horn assembly for the steering wheel and the light cover for the hatch area was only $11.65. Better than 300 bucks at the dealer.

Hey everyone, I took my speedo apart today to fix the odometer. Got the odometer working but I didn't mark where the speedo needle should be. I doesn't want to move past 10mph. Everything else works fine. Can anyone tell me how to get the speedo reading right?

I've replaced the plugs, checked the timing and air filter and sensor. Was just thinking about a 15yr old fuel pump leaving me stuck in the middle of nowhere. I try to do as much preventive maintaince as possible. My time is streched so thin, I like to fix things before they break.
-
It's taking a little longer to start than before and I believe the pump is stock. If rockauto has stuff on sale, I'll buy things and put them up.

Hey everyone, I was looking around on rockauto.com and they have a beck/arnley fuel pump for 52,Delphi for 102 and the Bosch pump for 185. Truck runs good now but like to stock up on parts if there cheap enough. Does anyone has any comments or experience with these brands?
