  1. Sounds like the torsion bars are cranked causing the camber issues and its hitting the bump stops causing a harsh ride
  2. The beep beep beep noise is probably the seat belt chime with the key to on. There should be a set of wires that go to the back of the switch that can be disconnected from the lock cylinder. You can insert a screwdriver where the rod from the switch went in. While turning like you're starting the truck, wiggle the harness and see if anything changes. I had a nissan sentra do the same to me once
  3. X2 on the keyless ride remote. Bought a factory remote and it lasted maybe 6 months tops. Been using the keyless ride remote for years with no issue. The only drawback is finding batteries. Mine takes a cr1616. Amazon has them cheap so I ordered extras
  4. I put a hose clamp behind the connector on the steering column to keep it from moving away from the contacts
  5. When my cruise was acting up, if you pushed against the bottom of the steering wheel away from you while driving, it would engage. The contacts were just a hair away from contacting the ring
  6. On my 95 I used a 90 amp alternator from a 1990 maxima. Gates called for a 9361 belt but it was too short so I moved up to a 9370 and it put the alternator in the middle of the lower bracket
  7. My 95 with 235/75/15 (28.8inch) and 5 speed with 4.30 gears is turning 3k rpm at 65mph
  8. Replaced the alternator today so far no issues. Voltage back up to 14 volts when running. Thanks for the input
  9. Replaced the alternator today so far no issues. Voltage back up to 14 volts when running. Thanks for the input
  10. Are you using the maxima alternator too?
  11. The charging issue just started yesterday. First 6 months everything was good. Luckily the alt has a lifetime warranty
  12. I'll have to wait until the weekend to get it checked. I'll be in the company truck all week. I checked all the wiring and grounds but still doing same thing
  13. Hey everyone, on my 95 XE the alternator is only producing 12 volts until I rev the motor to 3k RPMS and then it produces 13.8-14 volts after that. With the engine off, battery has 12.3 volts. When first start up its showing 12 volts at the battery. Once you rev it, it makes good voltage even at idle and voltage stays good with a load on the system. Battery is 2 months old and alternator is 6-7 months old. It's a reman 90 amp maxima alternator. Any ideas to fix low voltage at startup?
  14. If you're driving it on the street, get used to the road noise being overwhelming. Also you'll need to relocate ECM for spraying out inside with a waterhose
  15. I gutted my converter 2 yrs ago cause it was stopped up. No power loss and mileage actually came up a little. It has a thrush muffler but really no change in sound after gutting the converter.
  16. Idle when warm should be 750-800 in neutral and 600-700 in gear so you're good
  17. It could. After checking, clear the codes and drive it and see if they return.
  18. A mass air flow sensor can mess up the drive ability big time. The computer needs its reading to control everything else. Do a search and find how to clean MAF sensor and see if it helps. Also check the wiring especially the plug for breaks or chaffed wires. Hope its something simple
  19. Do a load test on charging system. A battery loses voltage the colder it is. Plugs might not have full juice going to them and causing it to run rich. Had this problem in my cadillac once before
  20. Coils need more room in the front end with the independent suspension. Plus with torsion bars, just crank them for a lift
  21. I replaced all 4 speakers with Polk Audio 5x7's. I bypassed all the stock speaker wire and amps and ran all new wire. With a Pioneer 4400hd head unit and a MTX 150 watt amp pushing a 10 inch audio phonics single sub in a box I built. Crystal clear sound and good bass
  22. Check both ends of the torsion bar to see if the splines are stripped.
  23. The E rated tires will be way too stiff. I run 215/85/16 on a gmc 1 ton box truck and fully loaded they have little give. Plus the stiff tires might wear out suspension parts faster
  24. The belt was so tight, I had to take the fan off and put the fan pulley on the water pump. So I went with a Gates 9370. Gates site shows a 9361 but its too short
  25. I took the adjuster completely out and the belt was still too short. Dayco and Gates show different lengths with the dayco being longer. I went with a 1 inch longer gates belt and the alternator is in the middle of adjuster so everything is back together
