hmmm, my uncle works for Eaton.
-
I want a SC on mine. WOnder if I can find one off of a Frontier or Xterra in a junk yard.
-
That's pretty mean, but dang funny at the same time. They have magnetic oil drain plugs out there for your oil pan. It will be intersting to see if this works, I hope it does, cause I would use them if it does. As for Gas prices you are lucky its only $1.80 We are finally below the $2.00 range.

That first pic looks familiar...hmmm Man, I hate my stock chrome wheels. I am just a cheap bastard and won't buy new ones until I need to. The junkyards around here want $40 for each chrome wheel and $15 for each lego wheel.

Well, send me a PM with your email and they will be on the way.

If you are going to get a snorkle you can't do the cone filter install. Just get the flat K&N filter for the stock replacement. Then when you get the snorkle you will have to cap the inlets of the airbox off and only have the snorkle as your air inlet.

I agree with K9 completely. Except the cable company thing. Well except they keep hiking up the price. Most of them are either High School drop outs or crack heads (the one's I have seen in Seattle anyways). They to but 5 quarts in my Pathy once and I haven't been back since. Back on topic... So is it bad to "blow out" the old grease when adding new grease to the zerk fittings? I was taught to add grease until old grease starts oozing from around the bushings you are greasing.

If you have access to AutoCAD I can email you a few bumpers that I have drawn up. They aren't to scale, because I am too lazy to go out and measure my Pathy.

Looking good, where did you get the basket from?

I just recently started hearing this noise myself and thought the fuel pump was going bad as well. I found it weird that it would make the noise after sitting in the garage for a week.

A couple of the guys from my Early Bronco days run lines along the frame and up into the engine bay to a filter. Here is a link to a few posts people have made for what they have done. Axle Vents

Well, if that's the case then mine was missing the cap. That photo is of my engine, I know it was open, that's why I removed it.
-
So, when looking at my original photo the end where the purple arrow is wasn't open? Or am I just slow today and missing something?
-
Yours is sealed? That's weird, it was open on mine.
-
After I put the new battery in, I drove it around the 'hood and noticed a very faint noise coming from most likely the airbox.
-
I couldn't figure that out myself, that's why I removed it. It had to of sucked warm air into the airbox, which is stupid, but was easy enough to remove so I did.
-
That's a little off topic isn't it 88? Well, Over the weekend I capped off the inlet of the airbox that comes from the fender wall so that I only have one inlet going into the airbox. After I did the mod, I went to start it and it didn't start, just a nice clicking sound. Time for a new battery.

Anything is possible, they put 350s in 4Runners, so why not Pathys.

http://www.allshocks.com/bilstein/html/offroad.html Here is a link to Bilsteins offroad shock section. Bilstein doesn't sell the 5100 & above series for stock height trucks, only lifted trucks. These shocks I got a quote for $240 for all 4 shocks from www.shox.com for stock replacement Bilsteins. TO get a correct price on 5100s call Shane @ Bilstein 1-800-537-1085.

$80 for 9000s? Man, I would rather get Bilsteins for that price.
