  5. The 3rd pic looks BEASTY... LOVE IT....!!!
  6. Also w/ mine, (I'll try and get pics soon) I had the armrest reapolstered (20 dollars) and used the left overs to make some black flams that go on the door panel surrounding a Nissan logo I pulled off of a newer HB. Looks pretty good, On the drivers side it's going to get the word pathfinder w/ the black flame job... I'll try and get pics soon, camera is broken...

  14. also just a side not, do you even know how many people are employed by GM? A TON... that is a lot of jobs that effect the American Econ.
  15. I have to agree w/ red88, and actually I feel your pain now 87. My boss at KFC (crap job to begin with) has been promising me the assistant manager position for 4 months now and you last assistant left about 3 months ago, so I have been fully trained, and proforming the required responcibibities of that position sence he left, but I have recieved no pay raise, no recogintion or anything, and have been working here busting balls for the past 3 years. I mean it has been a massive pain in my butt. So I have had several meetings w/ him but he just keeps jerking my chain around, so last saturday I put in my two weeks after much deliberation, because I feel like I am just throwing all of that work away that I did to advance in the business. So now I feel a crap load better... but I guess what I am trying to say... is it's not worth being miserable at a job, that you loath going to. Like I have been told many times, no job or money is worth you sanity. I wish you luck man!!!! (btw, I had a new job lined up at NAPA before I quit hmm love that 10% off the parts )
  16. just the rusted frame freaks me out that all. I don' like messing w/ the kind of crap... I love the newer style dashes though. I was thinking someday of doing a dash conversion... that is a long way away... thats it... it's not because I don't think they are good... ...no offence was intended.
  17. Why not try the hood vent off of like a 280 Z, I have been contimplating that idea for some time. Linky btw... the z car on the page is really nice
  18. Hmmm... I am glad I came accross this thred. Even sence I was a kid, chevy held the spot in my heart as the numro uno car maker... and both my pathies are amazing machines, and a testement to nissan duribility and quality... except for the 93 - 95 pathies which I am going to stay FAR away from... but that's beside the point. First I want to say, ever sence I was a kid, and my parents let me, whenever we went to town my parents stop at dealerships, check out the cars, and when I was lucky my dad would testdrive one for fun... Both Nissans and GM products. But. Over the years I have seen GM Product quality druasticly get better. Have you been in one of the new Taheos? They are so freakin nice. Also, they they have cylender shut off technology, GM was the first to have a hybrid truck. SO they have made a lot of efforts to emprove quailty and efficiancy. Where as Nissan has yet to produce any kind of hybrid. Also, on a bell curve graph, you would see that Chevrolet quality in the 80's was in the dumper hard core, and some in the 90's but sence the redesing of the truck (AKA silverado) in 99 quality has only been increasing. As with nissan I have been watching it try and make a comeback, but is only flailing w/ quality. (Campair a Pathy interior to a Tahoe interior) Given they may proform differently offroad... but not a lot of people do that in their vehicals. Dependibilty also has increased for gm where as with nissan it has been faltering. Now there are endless possibilities for vehical engine combos... but I have to say, it would be sweet to see a 350z w/ a LS6 and a malibu w/ a 3.5 literVG. But I guess the point I am trying to make is if the pulled there resources together, they could build the ultiment in quality, dependability, and drivabilty.... PS: you probibily will never see any production 350z w/ a ls6 or any v8 because the 6 cylender is a tradmark for that car. Same applies to Vettes. Which I am an avid fan of both of those cars.
  19. Holy crap grim that much rust reminds me of the IH my dad and I restored...
  20. From my experiences with a/c at the mechanics shop, sounds like your low on R-12 or R-134. I don't know what year your pathy is so I can't exacally say which you have. But if it is R-134 you can pic up a can of refiller at Wal-mart or any autoparts, but if your running a R-12 system, that stuff is like drugs... extremely hard to get and very expensive... but more effective. DO NOT MIX THE Two of them. But if your running R-12, and you don't want to spend the money on the coolent, conversion may be in order, which you have to have a certified shop to do that, so that they can dispose of the system properly. All vehicals have run A/C have an auto shut off for the compresser when the refregerent is low, so that you don't burn up the compresser... so it is very likely that is the problem... and the reason it cools while the engine is running at a higher RPM is because there is just enough in the system to keep it from shutting off, but at a low rpm the compresser can't push what is left in the system fast enough to cool properly. I would recommend at least stopping at a ASE certified shop and have them at least check the low and high side of the A/C system... that is you best bet.
