  1. Your frame is perfect compared to mine, where are you from, that plays a big role in how fast it rots.
  2. i used my front tow hook to pull stumps once, they're tough!
  3. its because the haynes manuals have the specs for like 5000000 different year and model differences.
  4. Don't the pistons collide with the valves starting at 3 teeth off?
  5. I can't get the number 6 plug out on mine, its a 93SE, all the plugs but that one were changed 4 years ago, so god knows how old that one plug is.
  6. meh, just put some more weight on the other side and it'll be all good. but maybe one of your shocks has failed internally? I know that my pathy leaned on the passenger side to the rear and i found out that shock had failed internally, if that can even happend (its what i was told)
  7. well your name is phattbaztard
  8. And if you wait too long it'll completly separate and you have a whole new mess on your hands
  9. not drive? well you could start buy making sure you've done all your maintenance/tune up stuff. Change all the oils, preferably to synthetic, replace your air filter with a high quality one (k and n for example), change your spark plugs, and don't have anything that isn't neccessary inside your truck, the weight actually made a difference for me. If your a 5 speed, shift at 2500 rpm and don't book it all the time. Also make sure your tires are inflated properly and bearings are in good shape. All this stuff, including fuel filter change as well, brought my truck up from 16mpg to 20mpg hope that helps
  10. 4 hours, then why does a mechanic quote me for the job at 7 hours?
  11. works for me on firefox on xp pro. are you running firefox 2 or the old one?
  12. ok..... back to the topic, i would take them back, and ream out the people if they don't give you another one, thats what i did when a parts store wouldn't return my clearly defective battery under warranty.
  13. where is the clutch solenoid, is it near the compressor, and how do i jumper it?

  16. My truck had that same problem, I just had to replace the alternator belt, lights went off like 5 seconds after I started the truck, since i had to boost it the belt was slipping so bad.
  17. thats what my dad had the shop do to mine
  18. I'd go, even though its a long drive from ottawa. Just start saving the gas money now!
  19. I've got a question, my a/c had always worked great, real cold, then one day after a while, you go and press the a/c button, and nothing, the compressor doesn't even try to engage, my fan selector only works on 1 and 2 also. Any ideas. I really want my a/c!!!. And by the way, on the highway its cheaper to use the a/c, because of drag created by the windows.
  20. With out r50 is, i find the drivers seat ok, while the passenger seat and rear seats are stiff like new. I think whoever had it before me was the only one ever in it, as its all mint condition.
  21. simon, the xe r50's aren't any good either, but i guess we don't really have to worry do we?
