ahh i remember driving right through harrisburg in the 93 pathy on the way to virginia where my dads friend lives. done that trip a few times. I hate rust, you really gotta nip it in the bud though, or else it'll turn into this:
-
you sound as determined as i am for restoring my first one. Where are you from, that'll tell us a lot about how much frame rot you can expect.
-
My dad gave me mine , well my first one and im planning on keeping it for a looong time as well as my new one. But to keep it running just get whatevers leaking fixed, replace the broken stuff and don't let the rust get out of hand, especially on the frame, you might want to bang on it with a hammer and see if theres any holes, as then you'll know how rusted it really is. My rust got out of hand....bad. Other than that, if you can keep on top of the maitenance, it'll last pratically forever and a day.

Your always supposed to stop when going in and out of 4lo unless you really wanna eff something up
-
Do they really last any longer anyways? Or should i just take my motomaster eliminator out of my other one? sorry for the thread hi jack

I needed a battery and went to canadian tire up here in canada, and the one that the computer said is the right one was like 675CCA. I told them to get me the most powerful one. I now have 1085crank amps and 885CCA's and it starts first try even in -45 weather. When I get my new truck, im gonna get a yellow top because the one in it now is going and I run an inverter like simon. Except his is probably alot more powerfull (mines 175watts)
-
my 93 has that. I also have this wierd thing that snaps in with the ashtray, its not the one that replaces the ashtray though, its wierd.

At least you can go far with the low gas light although i've only done it a couple times. Our 3.3L gets around 550kms before the light comes on, its a 2000 5 speed, so that might have something to do with it. I figure if im good on her i can get about 700 km's to a tank, 75 of those clicks being after the light comes on. I like crossing the border to the usa and filling the tank for 42 bucks

Haha good thing i stumbled upon this, my dad was just b****ing about it on his 2000. Maybe it should be stickied?

Mine puts out a lot of white smoke if its been sitting for a while. But I just let it idle till it goes away. sometimes for half an hour or more!
-
My truck still had the oem shocks and its at 340,000kms, granted they're getting a little tired. But they've lasted a looooong time on my 93. And the adjustable part still works. And then my friend took my truck wheeling and broke them off along with some other parts

I went almost 100 kms in the r50 with the light on, and when i went to fill it it took 68L Our gauge must be like yours trainman, as when it reads half full, its more like 5/8's full. In my wd21, it was nearly empty and I put 18~L in and it went up to 1/4 so...

a socket set, a jack, can of pb blaster just in case the nuts are rusty, and a can of anti seize to put on the threads. Im pretty sure thats it. As it was all i needed when i removed my shocks.
-
I think most of the board should be like that. Just because my friends seem to like making fun of me for being here. but it does'nt stop me
-
i think they were an option on the wd21, as my 93 has one. Our 2000 does too and its never been used.
-
I like your differential art
-
That is a good idea And I've done many annoying things here and I haven't been banned either, I just catch a lot of flack
-
uh ya they do..... when you got a full load especially. Its like normally 4200 lbs or something.
-
yeah i got one, its for a 94 though, but i assume the frame specs are the same from 87-95 right? The only thing I noticed is that the lower arms look different on an 88 that is down the road from me.
-
well most of those were poho posts...... But you still don't have to be a **** about everything. And I'm being honest. I don't care whether you're joking or not. Its not been the best week for me and I'd like to have one place where i don't get b****ed at for making a few stupid posts. I could go on forever and explain to you my entire situation, but i really don't want to right now... Sorry to butcher your thread uncc
-
And you told me to buy them???? :tonguefinger:

The OEM headlights are terrible... I cant see $hi#
adamzan replied to BLouisGod's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I got pulled over with our isuzu because the cop thought i had my highbeams on, and then he was gonna slap me with some kind of ticket for having modified lights. Didn't take me long to pop the hood and show him that they were stock. My wd21 headlamps are really good i find. I have the glass housing with the ge nighthawk lights. One housing has a tiny hole in it though -
the link wasn't working. I got it to work now, calm down

Where do i get one for a 93?
