  1. Oh boy! Ummm the most recent thread on cup holders is 2 years old.
  2. My little Scrappy, the one thing that I love more then my Pathfinder.
  3. I believe another thing that is hard on tranny's is TRAFFIC and we have lots of that in NYC, but like you mentioned it gets very cold here also so am thinking about putting the cooler right before the radiator as so it's not TO efficient.
  4. Nice mod! Another thing to do is just put 2 pop out hinges on like on the older mini van side windows. With some good epoxy they should secure to the window and screw them down into the tailgate. Hmmmm.
  5. Anybody come up with any "creative" cup holders for the limited space Pathfinder? Pics.........
  6. Spoke to soon...............Slowwww
  7. It's a great site but way to slow, kinda frustrating.

    Flood Lights

I don't see no relay at the side of the postive battery terminal.
  9. The speaker frame is not supposed to carry current and there lies the problem, 88 pathoffroad explainded it best, you need to take some readings from the speaker as it sounds like the speakers circuit is the culprit. Honestly if there new speakers I would return them.
  10. LOL Thanks for the poll, some mixed results.
  11. Yes servicing the AC, the door switch I did myself and at those prices I will be doing more myself. I believe a 12oz can is $20 at a retail auto parts store.
  12. Then you have a short circuit, the voltage is not making it's complete cycle. In other words you have stray voltage, check the speakers circuit.
  13. The problem with trying to guess what kind of life span you might get with a 05 Pathfinder is there aren't to many 05 Pathfinders out there that have 200,000 on it to judge by. This is a good poll that might help........http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?&act=ST&f=6&t=1987&mode=show&st= So by looking at this poll it's safe to say a 90-95 has a good chance of reaching 200,000 miles.
  14. OK! has anyone actually achieved a longer life span with a cooler installed. In other words is putting a cooler in really worth it. I know everyone says put one in, but is there actually "proof" that it extends the life of your tranny. I was hoping to hear someone say "after putting a cooler on my tranny it lasted 200,000 miles." I did not find any threads offering real life experiences. On a side note being actively involved in about 12 different internet forums this one takes the cake with the "SEARCH" replies. Isn't it easier to just ignore a thread then pulling out the SEARCH card. Sheesh!
  15. My apologizes< I did read a bunch of tranny cooler threads but there is scattered information everywhere. Some of the threads were kinda old so any NEW info would be great.
  16. For those with external tranny coolers I was wondering how many miles do you have on your transmission? Also where did you mount the cooler? I figured while am doing the timing belt I might as well do the cooler.
  17. You don't need plastic screws, just put electric tape around the hot connector. Those metal screws should not be touching any hot leads.
  18. I ended up letting the mechanic do it, $85 ouch. I should of just did it myself.
  19. Question in regards to this whole timing belt thing. ................Does Mistibushi make belts for Nissan's. Reason I ask is because my truck has a Mistubushi belt on it.
  20. Might I add that if your going to charge your system to NOT use those cheap can and hose together set ups. The fitting is plastic and is cheap.
  21. Those moldings are $48 a piece, my are shot also but they don't look like a easy remove and reinstall.
