  1. You're right about that but in his defense, there aren't always accessible exhaust shops. For example, the closest one to me that will do that kind of work is more than 50 miles away!
  2. Yes and looking back at it I can see why some of them got negatives and that's fine but when people hate you they will do everything to make you look bad.
  3. yeah the panhard bar should be parallel to the ground now that i think about it
  4. Probably not a good idea. Been there, done that! If you want, for convenience and ease of repair, you can clamp the tail pipes on the muffler.
  5. just a little off topic but i think the other way to do this right is to get a longer panhard bar
  6. Just a heads up, 12mm motorcycle bungs work great with those smaller sensors.
  7. Get flanges of your choice, either billet or whatever el cheapo ones. Same goes for gaskets, just get some decent high temp ones. For the oxygen sensor, since your year is 1992, it will use the small 12mm bung so get one of those and weld the bung into the mid pipe as close to the engine as possible but to not interfere with the bolts. Make sure you use 3 bolt flanges at the manifolds.
  8. cool i'll probably just use the standard stuff so that way it's compatible with what was in there before
  9. Right, the dealer exhaust gaskets are great, if you are building an OEM system.
  10. I'm about to replace the water pump on my truck and since it's one of the things you replace while doing the timing belt I might as well throw a new timing belt on there. Since the coolant has to be drained for all the hoses to come off and it would be a good idea to replace it anyway. I was just pondering on what I should replace it with. I could use the good old 50/50 Prestone thing available anywhere or could do something special. I know for the most part they are all the same but would like some more input on it.
  11. Thinking of removing the fender flares... Anyone want a set of perfect fender flares?

Please and thank you. How far in jersey are you. I'd love to meet you. Maybe split the distance and meet up?

  12. It will go all over the place. If you stop suddenly then the cup holder swings in the direction you are stopping. If you accelerate hard then the drink will go toward the back.
  13. That works too! Not sure how good it will be in a car though.
  14. one word of warning don't warp any flanges when welding them or you will be in for some good times
  15. Those all look like they belong in the shower! Anything is spill proof as long as there is a sealing lid on it. I already mentioned what I think in the post above but basically if it looks like crap or is poorly placed then I don't like it.
  16. i think this is the best idea possible too
  17. Nope, not at all. That's an example of how you do it right. Arm rest freezers are cool and are especially nice on hot days if you have anything that might get ruined like ice cream. How about giving kids bottles instead of cups? That would make much less of a mess to clean up because bottles have a much lower chance of accidentally spilling. They can put them somewhere too, maybe even in the arm rest freezer? You people don't understand that I'm not anti-cupholders. I'm against cup holders placed in stupid places (like screwed to the dash) with cups of sugary drinks in them. Bottles are much better and cleaner! This is very poorly done, I don't like it one bit. Once again: NO YES
  18. use 2" downpipes then y-pipe them into a 2.5" collector and go 2.5" from there make your own pipe with a o2 bung and throw everything factory in the garbage for a 2.5" muffler a flowmaster 50 is a good choice (if you want flowmaster) then magnaflow high flow or no cat at all
