  1. http://www.nissan.co.jp/AREA/FUKUOKA/ENGLISH/MAKING/seisanshahu.html The only vehicles that are still built in Kyushu.
  2. Are you trying to build a monster truck?
  3. a 6 inch suspension lift good luck with that EDIT: SAS is a different story
  4. It's funny all the interior shades look so close to each other but are really different. I have some blue-ish gray parts in mine yet I have a tan gray interior. Maybe you like rainbows?
  5. The difference between short and long tube headers is very moot point. The only reason why long tubes are considered more effective is because the exhaust pulses are less likely to interfere with each other at the collector which will slightly improve scavenging. The length really does not matter that much on a VG engine because of its 1-2-3-4-5-6 firing order. Both short and long tubes are effective in increasing mid range torque and high rpm horsepower. If you want more low end and less attention from the cops, stick with the stock exhaust.
  6. You might have a bad charging harness then.
  7. sticky sticky sticky sticky
  8. If it was a mount your whole console would rock side to side. Mount problems are almost always obvious. If it was the brakes then you would still be hearing stuff even when you throw it in neutral. I'm thinking it's most likely the transfer case.
  9. You will get up to maybe 160hp. The torque effect comes from the design of the primary tubes. The whole point of a performance exhaust is so that the engine can breathe better at high rpm so that it can put out more horsepower when it revs above what it was meant to be driven at. You can build headers for low end torque as well but they will perform identical to the stock exhaust manifold.
  10. you should be able to get away with just swapping it in
  11. That too but it depends on the actual design of the rack.
  12. Where I live I spend a lot of time climbing steep hills at moderate speeds and the gearing on these trucks is very tall so it will go to high rpm for power and speed.
  13. You might be able to get that tensioner bracket at your local pick and pull. I would definitely get one ASAP.
  14. I agree but you would be surprised how many people ghetto their roof rack installs. If I was to do it, I would also reinforce the roof rack with rails underneath so that way the roof doesn't cave in.
  15. Those pulleys will usually get messed up when a non Nissan tech does your timing belt. Those marks are very hard to see so if they take that pulley off for whatever reason they only have a 1 in 6 chance of putting it back on the right way.
  16. Or that! Just remember that there were a few differences with the manual and automatic driven VQ motors.
  17. I spend a lot of time over at over 5000 rpm so I found the headers to be really beneficial.
  18. From my experience there is a slight difference but don't expect much. The real gain is only after 4000 rpm or so. If you don't like to rev high then don't bother. The drive-ability is a little different too and there will be significantly more engine noise. If you have a problem with listening to a muffler on the highway then this set up isn't for you. If not, then enjoy the slight power increase.
  19. Take off ALL the belts. Then try again. You won't hurt it by running a few seconds without anything.
  20. You are getting that because the fuel injectors are not synchronizing properly. This is why it is so important that the injector timing matches the spark timing and that will only happen when the timing is set at 15 BTDC.
  21. Just lower the boost for now. You don't want to fry that transmission. Also, install a transmission cooler if you haven't already.
  22. i'm not a big fan of roof racks because they create problems on the highway when you are carrying stuff on them but if you want to install it don't ever use pop rivets
  23. No, the VQ engine R50s should already have that beefed up transmission. You think Nissan would put a standard RE4 with a VQ? I doubt it.
  24. I would start by taking the belts off and see when the problem goes away. If it doesn't go away, it's probably a valvetrain issue.
