  1. Do you have a digital odometer or an analog old school odometer? If you have a regular analog old school one then you will need to replace the cluster.
  2. Yes, that muffler is reversible. Yes, you will need adapters if you don't have a 2.25" or a 2.50" pipe depending on how you want to install it. No, there should not be a problem with accepting 2x 2.25" and going out with 2.50". Yes, you can use this muffler to eliminate the entire Y-pipe if you have one. I think R50s already use a dual in single out muffler that eliminates the need to use a Y-pipe. If you want a glass pack, that Magnaflow is definitely better than Cherry Bomb. You can also use that muffler as a pre-muffler and then add another 2.50" in/out muffler for more quietness. Good luck with your purchase!

  4. This may sound weird but that problem went away by itself. If it comes back I'm going to put some grease down the shaft or something.
  5. The O2 bung goes about right there. Keep in mind different years use different bungs. Be careful about the interference with the bolt!
  6. http://purenissan.com/wd21_steering.htm This is what you really need. The rest is ghetto rigged nonsense. That grass roots link is an economical alternative but if you are going to go that way be sure to REINFORCE the idler arm with a brace.
  7. Yeah that is pretty good. If you are using manifolds, pacesetters, or thorley long tubes go with 2.25". If you are using the thorley short tubes then the system should be 2.50".
  8. cool i think mr510 was also the one that mentioned that cooling systems in these should be purged of air on an incline
  9. If you are going to use an amp with an aftermarket deck, be sure to use the line level outputs (RCA) instead of the wires. Those wires are only for the people that do not want to run an amplifier. If you send those to the amp, you can blow the amp or have really crappy sound.
  10. Now hold on there... Do you have the details of the system that you are building? Having built and re-built one myself I could help you out here.
  11. You just go directly to the speakers. Don't bypass the amp on the stock head unit, only on aftermarket decks that have built in amps.
  12. The best thing to do with the factory amplifier is to take it out and throw it in the garbage. It's too weak for any real speakers. I think the output is something like 25 watts per channel. Then you either install an aftermarket amplifier or just run the speakers off the deck using the internal amplifier of the deck.
  13. sounds to me like the water pump is failing check around the snout for leaks and that should be a tell tale sign if not then the impeller blades may have rusted off inside
  14. I'm surprised you didn't break anything else since the engine shifts with the transmission.

They also seem to be 5x2s.
  18. It's just a silly fluid container. You can move that easily.
  19. I'm going to go the cheap way and go with the Pilots. It looks to me like the factory ones can sometimes fall out of their clips.
  20. The pilots don't seem to be available anymore. EDIT: They're not on summit but Advance seems to have those. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_x_16280031-P_x_x?cm_mmc=CSE-_-Google-_-VALUE3-_-VALUE4&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=#
  21. Does anyone with the newer style bumper know what other replacements are available for the fog lights? They seem to have some pretty standard buckets with clip in fog lights. Did anyone ever try putting something else in place of those buckets? Those Nissan replacements are pretty expensive so perhaps I could just as well make it worth buying and get something like IPF replacements.
  22. Just a little off-topic here and not to discourage from converting to dash mounted parking brakes but if you don't want to do this conversion you can use that little space for a CB radio or some other nifty device.
