  1. yikes!!! just checked mine and they are about to snap off will be taking care of that ASAP, time to go see dealer again
  2. been there done that fill the tank, take the spray nozzle off in the back, push the spray button until creamy stuff comes out, replace spray nozzle (might wanna clean that too)
  3. How about putting in a large mattress that matches the protruding height of the folded down seats?
  4. 94pathyman and Precise1 got it right its definately a buildup/burnup problem in some cases i use 93 octane gas so that could have been the engine adjusting too maybe use a lower octane? cleaning the intake did help with the power curve and made the idle much smoother also i had to lower the throttle cable to drop the idle back to 800 as my idle increased by 200 rpm
  5. Here is my 2c. After weak A/C operation, I took it to a shop to flush and recharge the system. The A/C worked great until a bad smell came in from the vent duct and my A/C quit entirely. I'm thinking its a bad evaporator but might as well replace at least the high pressure line too. I have been putting this repair off for a year now because I barely use the A/C but now I'm pretty much broke after the timing belt change so its going to have to wait a little longer.
  6. Well its not doing that anymore... I don't know what happened but the problem is gone.
  7. UPDATE On the WD21, that is not the right way to take the mirror apart! You have to remove the mirror glass from its frame housing by squeezing the edges of the frame while SLOWLY prying the glass up. Do not pry the plastic piece out of the mirror housing, you WILL BREAK it. Once the mirror piece comes out of its plastic retaining frame, tighten the screws as you wish. Just fixed mine, took me a few minutes to figure it out but I did it.
  8. Just pull it, gas will come out but don't worry about it, R134a is not ozone depleting.
  9. just the both trip meters are stuck on 0s
  10. Well it looks like the trip odometer on my 91 does not work. Everything else on the dashboard works just fine except the trip odometer. All the fuses look good so I don't know what to look for.
  11. Maybe the fuel tank has a leak? I have a new fuel pump and sender. Maybe I turn the key way too fast? How long should I keep the pump running before I crank it?
  12. That's why I change the fluid... Anyway I'm still on the original alty and its working great. The only way yours can fail is if you overdraw it or if its not an original alternator.
  13. Ok well I already have a recent fuel filter, less than 5000 miles on it The distributor doesn't look bad either Can the "OBD I" tell me if I have a misfire? I cleaned the carbon buildup in the throttle body today, maybe this will help
  14. Ok recently like about a week ago I got this weird intermittent starting problem... Sometimes when I start the truck it sounds like its about to fail and chokes on itself like its about to stall. Then it gets going again like there was no problem! Anything familiar or is this something new?
  15. 1. remove the exhaust to drop the pan and remove the filter 2. yes, the shifting is much better
  16. done new water pump new heavy duty thermostat and radiator from before new timing belt new tensioner new seals new idler pulley (old one was noisy) new transmission pan gasket new transmission filter and filled with nissanmatic D new master brake cylinder changed oil in transfercase and diffs and some other things i can't remember now drives good now and all those parts were from the dealer except the thermostat was a 180 deg stant superstat happy so far FYI: round tooth it was
  17. problem solved bad alignment, the shop spent an hour on the alignment and a specialist had to do it no more high speed vibrations or wheel tilting grimgreg is correct
  18. glad it worked out yep drives 90 just fine, i do it almost daily
  19. well i would guess they want to test the new key and make sure that its your car
  20. lol id have another window seat
  21. Tungsten

    Cash for ?

LOL I was just going to start another thread like this! I'm never trading my Pathfinder for a Prius, ever. The WD21 is the greenest vehicle you can buy! Why? 1. It does not require pavement to operate, pavement which produces tons of emissions when made 2. It does not use large batteries which cannot be recycled 3. It uses minimal parts and has no stupid safety devices, which produce more emissions from factories 4. Its great on gas for an SUV of this size and weight So want a greener planet? Buy a Pathfinder.
  22. uhm dude the 94 block i put into my 91 already had 250,000 miles on it since then i put another 100,000 on it and doing the timing belt now runs like a sewing machine
  23. Tungsten

    OH NO!

so change the transmission filter, seal, and add some nissanmatic D done
