  1. ok ok should have worded that differently......they're like the katzkin ones BFL mentioned: you take off your old upholstery and put this stuff on
  2. shift solenoid eh? how much $$ are we talking for that? so thats a no on the Jeep then huh? PS: how much does a new DS CV axle cost?? mine's breakin loose
  3. --EBAY IS YOUR FRIEND-- you can find pleather seat covers that just replace the cloth you already have for like $60 a set and i think $150 for real leather
  4. Okay Ladies and gents, heres the dilemma my pathy ('93 SE, AutoTrans) seems to not be shifting for itself when going into second gear, you have to caox it by revving the engine and backing back off, and the engine sounds twice as loud as it ever has so right now i'm fearing the worst, thinking my tranny has kicked the bucket, should i completely flush the system and see if it gets better or if the worst really is happening, I hate to say it, but the pathy goes to the junkyard because its not really worth spending $2000+ on fixing the tranny of a rig with 228,000 miles on her The Pathy will be replaced if need be.....with a jeep.......... its a 90's Commanche w/ 4" of lift, 33's, prerunner fenders, ARB winch bumper, PIAA lighting, the unsinkable 4.0, all for $4500 I really hope it can be fixed tho...........lemme know what to do here guys
  5. looks good, looks good since mine's a different shade of green I'll have to crack open CS2 and see what it'll look like...........need to bet black rockkrawler rims first
  6. My rack's got brackets on one side for my jack, and a PVC pipe on the other for my fishing poles!!
  7. oh and assbeard....i'm diggin the rims they're what i have on my wd21
  8. So what does that make me a girly man??
  9. Vox, did you get those tail light covers from AC??? :cool2: oh yah.....my basket is done today!!!!! just gotta mount it -bounce-
  10. so, what does it look like when you remove the plastic? are there holes that need to be filled cuz my subs rattle my trim like crazy, so i wanna remove it
  11. HEY!!! SOMEONE FINALLY MENTIONED SOUTH DAKOTA!!!!
  12. Who's 95PathyMan??? I'll be joinin ya in Laramie in October
  13. :cool2: does that just spray over your paint???? If so...Looks like I'll have two-tone Paintjob in no time!!
  14. dang pickles you more or less stole my exact idea i just started my rack today, using 3/4 steel tube instead of conduit but i too am using the fairing idea, 'cept mines gonna be a piece of removable sheetmetal, that way when i go wheelin and need the light, i just pop the fairing off and "hevenly light" comes from de roof wish i would have thought of a plexiglass before i bought my metal....oh well.... you beat me to the chase
  15. started bending my metal today the dimensions are: 3'6'' X 4'5'' I'm using 3/4 square steel tubing then using a 20-16 gauge piece of sheet for the wind fairing. and using 3/16'' steel (smaller if I can) for the supports When it is all finished it will have mounts for spare, tanks, and hi-lift Also plan to coat it w/ spray on bedliner get pics up soon....
  16. was considering putting a Cowl induction hood and prerunner-style fenders (wider out and more clearance) has anyone ever seen a PF with teh fenders or hood? Please post a pic if you have But will they fit? its just an idea ive had running through my head...i dont actually have any $$ to do it sorry if i didnt post a link to where i found the good and fenders it was a long time ago Later, El P
  17. Im Jackin this post for a sec if I order the 3'' BL for by '93 SE, is it gonna look tacky with 31'' tires?
  18. jsut started changing my t-stat and heres a ponter for everyone: TAKE IT TO THE DEALER!!! its a PITA unless you like spending 3 hours under hood undoing things that arent meant to be undone........... on a lighter note my MPG's should go up
  19. I was planning on using 1/2 inch sguare steel tube with a sheet metal fairing on the front to reduce drag on the road, but have the fairing removable so you can have lights behind it when you're off road, then building a prerunner-style tire carrier out of steel, and a bracket for a Hi-Lift Jack. another idea would be to use an ATV porta-tank rather than heavy Military cans. the ATV tank measures about 3' X 1' and only sits about 4 inches tall
  20. whats CPVC??? and Pickles Waht did you use and how much can it hold??
  21. I know it wont help all that much, but the plan I have drawn up has a big wind fairing on the front (kinda like an Xterra) maybe not as big on the drage dept. if I put that on
  22. searched it, only found what racks people have used never found a write up on one someone made
  23. So here's my dilema: i need a roof basket to hold my spare and some other gear, but i have no factory roof rails (lookin to buy some) but even with rails, I dont have an extra $400 to throw into a Yakima or Defender basket. so I decided to make one. But do I use aluminum (pretty spendy) or 16 guage steel? also if I go ahead on making it, I plan to add a prerunner style Tire holder, brackets for a hi-lift jack, and brackets to hold an ATV porta tank or two (way better than jerry-cans) Also the dimensions i measured are about 3' wide by 4' long, cuz I have a sunroof but if anyone on here has more exact dimensions for a '93 SE w/ a sunroof lemme know Later, El P
