I learned my one new thing for the day... so tomorrow I'm just gonna go to like advance auto or something and tell them what I'm thinking about doing and let them tell me what I need..not that I don't trust you guys..just b/c they might tell me something else and I figure I only have one chance at it and I'm really not looking forward to ripping the carpets out more then once.

I was afraid it would clump and I was pretty sure that it wouldn't come out how I wanted it, but I looked at all new carpets on jcwhitney and the cheapest is like $380. but I also figure I have nothing to loose because it can't really get much worse then it is now, atleast it'll all be one color ps. how much for carpet jay? what year is it for and is it all of it from front to back?

so....since lift + bigger tires dun't seem like a good option with the anal dad at the moment. I figure I've got a pretty good sound system now...7months and $2500 down the road I want my pathy to be noticed at shows or "meets" for looks since the other option seems impossible. So option #2 is things to make it look better... the carpets are disgusting and I've seen this carpet and upholstry paint. I think black carpets and black accent pieces and stuff would make it look better. I just used the pictures I already had on my computer to mess around with so here's what I have so far. I want to start with carpets... suggestions and comments are welcome!

Found it!!!! Q. What is duct tape? A. Duct tape is a strong tape composed of three layers. The top layer is a resilient plastic (polyethelyne). The bottom layer is a rubber-based adhesive. The middle layer is a fabric mesh. While there are stronger tapes, duct tape, when doubled over onto itself can pull a 2,000-pound car out of a ditch, and has the distinct benefit of not requiring any other tools to cut it - you just rip it with your bare hands. \/ Here's the article http://home.hamptonroads.com/stories/story...1741&ran=143949

I still don't understand why you have to cut the whole bottom part of the glove box out....

ok what I'm talking about isn't the ecu then....theres some kind of box under the passenger seat. with wires connected to it.
-
duct tape, if folded over (sticky side to stick side) can pull a car out of a ditch....figure that one out. can a jb weld do that??
-
I remember seeing a page on cardomain.com where some kid relocated his cpu to the back, and he did a write up about it. I've been looking for it and don't have any luck finding the page again. If you know how to or a page on how to relocate it, please let me know. sly

no it was closed last summer. They had this huuuge thing about it, where you drove to the point with like a black flag or something black on truck somewhere and you drive by the gate where they closed it off and there was a casket and people would put stuff in it and a lot of people stopped on the beach off to the side and had signs that said like "WHO CARES ABOUT A BIRD! WE WERE HERE FIRST!" and stuff like that. it was really funny, and the park rangers were just sitting in front of the gate watching everyone like..."damn rednecks"

so where does the centerlink go? in the 2nd picture it doesn't even show it. and what about the the vertical piece on the driver side?

kk. I did a search for shocks on the site and RC was never mentioned but rancho kept coming up...... I was also looking at steering stabilizers: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product...0009321/c-10614 it says "Replacement units reuse factory mounting brackets" so does that mean I need new mounting brackets because this unit isnt a replacement one??

rancho rs5000 shocks vs rough country nitro 9000 gas shocks

nevermind. dad is a complete ass hole, even after the kit is sitting in my garage and have plans to start at 10 am tomorrow. he says no. what a complete waist of like 2 weeks getting guides to installing it, calling up friends, and making a date where everyone can all meet. pssd any suggestions on things that are less "extensive"?
-
nvm I just looked at it a little bit ago. it has a rubber hose at the driver side end and has enough slack. 1 more thing tho -the bottom of the 4 "pipes" has a rubber hose on it i don't know what it goes to but it's already tight so I need a new one of them. I think I remember reading from another thread that its 3/8. do you remember replacing that?

my name is aaron and I don't count!

yea I thought there would be b/c of the coils, but wanted to make sure. What about the big one that has 2 braces??
-
I need some pics of the engine compartment with only a 3" body lift: -the "pipes" (I wouldn't call them hoses b/c they are stiff?) that are up against the firewall. -the "pipes" going out of the engine compartment (passenger side) -then the driver's side where the pipes connect to the master clutch cylinder, smog lines, and brake lines. I'm putting a body lift on tuesday and I'm just curious to how every1 else is doing it b/c I don't want to break one of mine by hoping that they just expand when I jack the body up...or do they just expand? ps: when you have to extend the steering shaft. you "tap it out" and pull it so it goes back into the steering box at the front on the car. correct?? :help:
