The guy at the car parts store said to get a certain type (maybe a 90weight?..I'm not sure) but the Haynes manual said like something different like a 30 or 40 weight, for the rear end. I also want to change the t-case, tranny, and front differential oil, so what kind do I need... :judge:

Yeah Calmini seems like it would be a better lift kit for like $35 more, I was looking for only a 2" BL tho, I found one for like 74.99.

All I off-road with is toyotas and a samurai. I can go through anything a 7" lift and 35's can go thru and run circles around a 3"BL with 33's..minus that really deep one. ...for now

can you just get rear coils and UCA without torsion bars? or is that a dumb idea. also with a 2" BL you don't have to extend lines and hoses right?

why not a WD body style..i mean we were the first one! I like shift_NPORA also, but were u guys thinkin that on the front and the pic on the back or what? I think it should have the website's link on it too. like on the bottom or somehow incorporated into the drawing stickers would be sweet but I just picked up some letters from walmart and put N.P.O.R.A. on the side back windows and then spelled it out across the back window...pics coming soon, and that could be an alternate way of doing it too if people don't feel like going through another poll and nothing happening. no offense to the people who start the threads /c i want one reallly bad!!

Ok, so I spent all weekend doing things to it and I know it's not; water in cap, bad fuel filter, water in oil, clogged catalytic converter or loose plugs. A friend looked at it and from he can tell he thinks its something with the computer or a sensor on something. soo next step is to the dealership. -thnkboutit-

here's a timeline of everytime I drove my truck: -Friday Night and Saturday Afternoon: went off-roading, everything was fine, never cut-off; started sputtering some and hesitating ever so slighty, but went away after about 5-10 minutes of reving -Saturday Night: Drove to the store 5-10 minutes away; everything fine; on the way home when I got into my neighborhood sputtering and hesitating happend; cut-off and would not start just kept turning over. About 30mins to 1 hour later it started up after giving it some gas and a few tries of turning over. -Sunday Afternoon: sputtering and hesitating after 5-10 minutes again; cut-off and would not start just kept turning over. Got it started after 10minutes of being hooked up to jumper cables. Got home, cut it off and tried to start it again, it would only turn over. Changed air-filter which was somewhat dirty. After changing air-filter it started up and drove it for about 5 minutes and nothing happend. -Monday through Thursday Morning: I drove it regularly and it was fine -Thursday Afternoon: sputtering and hesitating after 5-10 minutes; cut-off and would not start just kept turning over; hooked up to jumper cables for 10 minutes and still would not start. I came back an hour later and started up after giving it some gas and a few tries. Drove home, and sprayed intake/carb. cleaner for a good 5 minutes, then it sputtered and cut-off, but turned right back on. weather for the past week has stayed around 32 degrees F I'm really not sure what is could be, a friend suggested clogged catalytic converter. But tell me what you think.

32x11.50 BFG A/T with pacer aluminum mod rims, cobra cb with wilson 1000 antenna, and money towards plugs and wires.

I got the 32x11.50's on. They rub in the front and after cutting the fender back they rub just a little bit but it should be okay after some more grinding, they fit perfectly in the back and stick out a good 3" or so from the body in the front and rear, and look totally badass especially on the american racing outlaw II rims. Pics coming soon!! ps. no lift or nething but I had to cut the fenders all the way back to the firewall. Heres another option? sly

I seem to have a lot of room in the fender wells with my 31x10.5 goodyear wranglers. I can pick up 2 32x11.50 BFG AT's for free from a friend but I highly doubt they'll fit without rubbing in the front when the wheel is turned all the way, but I'm going to put them on this weekend and see. Also, I think it might look weird with 32's and no lift...I saw a 4runner a while ago with big tires and no lift and it looked kinda lame...

I looked them up online and there NGK Laser Platinum and $11.67 a piece. I never found any literature on them though, anyone know if they are they better then bosch platinums?

My friend from a vo. tech school stole some spark plugs for his hardbody, they say Nissan on the box but they also say NGK's. I've never heard of..Nissan making NGK plugs, or whatever you would call that. And I don't know of any company that would put a car manufac. on the box. :confused: The plugs are white, and say NGK in blue on the side, I wrote down the numbers on the box too: NGK PFR7A-11 22401-58517

After mudding the brakes start to smell for a few days, I know some new 4x4 trucks come with boots over them so mud doesnt get into it and smell like mine are, I looked in the Haynes manual and I didn't see anything that was like that from the diagrams. I also thought that maybe there was a groove in the rotor and mud was getting stuck in it, but when I replaced the front caliper and brake pads last year I don't remember seeing a groove. Also the smell is coming from all 4 tires, its an 87 and really old but is there anyway to fix this??
