  1. u can use the 3.0 crank in the 3.3 block? if so i didnt know this, i thought the only option was to machine the 3.3 crank to fit the pully. that is much easier cool.
  2. i do have an auto tranny up for sale. because i completed the swap on my own 95. i now have a 5 speed. eh, have you ever changed a clutch before? if so, then you can do this swap. if not, i would not take it on having never really worked on a car in that area.
  3. Dan (vengeful) had some, and IIRC he loved them. got great mileage out of them and liked them offroad. correct me if im wrong......
  4. ok. Mickey, you have a 95 right? if so that means you have the Electronic VSS located in your transfer case. that means that you can use any transmission from 87-95 (of course the ones with the VG) and it will bolt in, no need to deal with speedo cables, or anything as long as you keep your current transfer case. i did my swap in my driveway with normal hand tools a few jacks (i would highly recommend a tranny jack and a good service manual) and multipul trips to advance so goodluck!!!
  5. it would also ride like ass.....(if the shock were seized)
  6. hahahahaha wanna pay for it to be shipped across the country. ill do it for ya
  7. hah i bought mine off of a guy on ebay, and well, mine is still chipped and rusted in a few places, but i know the guy, and from seeing his pathfinder, he wheeled the piss out of it, i mean u can see rock rash and what not, so i mean overall it holds up well, but i need to repaint it. i have yet to scratch it, and have actually had the whole weight of my truck on it....but i also need to repaint it
  8. ok i have an automatic tranny just sitting here i will see how much shipping is to you, but im gonna see if i can make a total shipped to you for 400 if you are interested.
  9. ah thanks simon, i couldnt remember who the other person was, but i knew there was someone who recently got one. appreciate it
  10. ok, so i have tossed the idea around about herculining the interior, and well to me, i have had the interior out and the road noise to me is unbearable because i do like my sound system and it sounds like a tin can even with all of my dynomat in there but without carpet. so this is what im wondering. i have done the auto to 5 speed swap and am currently looking for replacement carpeting for my pathfinder molded for the 5 speed interior........ has anyone ordered replacements for theirs? and if so, where? and hows it holding up... also i have heard that there was at one point a kind of herculined carpet that was made, or a somewhat plasticoated molded something that i think Ryan Gee had at one point (IIRC). carpet is ok because i have heavy duty floor mats and a shop vac so cleaning it is not a problem after wheeling trips......only gotten it soaked once when water came in the door when i had to get out when i was in the middle of a river.......no problems there, pulled it, hung it in the garage with a dehumidifier and it dried out. so i dont want to hear "Just herculine it and be done with it....." so please help a fellow owner out
  11. i still have my RC UCAs and Sway Away Torsion Bars for sale if you are interested........and i also have some JGC springs if you want them.....

  16. looking for companies or ways other people have shipped fairly large heavy items. looking to get my tranny out to a pathfinder in need.
  17. ok. i understand the Pathy is a HP axle, but even so, the mounts wont mount up perfectly, but shouldnt it still work, i mean the drive shaft will just be at a little steeper of an angle, but still should be useable right? i mean that makes sense to me, but not knowing much about r50s and how their front axle mounts i wouldnt know about it.
  18. as long as you have the TX10 tcase you can use either of those gear sets. as far as i know those are the only options for our transfer cases. i know SteevO is working on getting a transfer case adapter so we can bolt up a 6 bolt case.....
  19. or depending on where you are i have one i can sell you. its in perfect condition
