One is Grey with White Ford F-150 highlights that I almost got cleaned off, need to get it on the road and make it look like Filthy's And the best one is Black with minimal redneck striping -bounce- Can I vote 3x??? I do like the Forest Green and Champagne but they were not available as options when I have bought mine.....

Just out of curiosity.. What was the status of the belt before you changed the Alt? Oil and AT lights came on too. That used to be an indicator to me that we had a Loose/broken belt...

I have had many occurences of getting in turning the key and nothing..... I have had a couple of occasions where it was towed and started right up, could not duplicate. 4x dead starters, on 2 different Pathy's over 15 years. Ohhh and the one I dropped last month... Once i had a starter that would not disengauge after starting the motor..... that was a fun one. Low battery, loose terminal, blown ignition fuse... Bad Solinoid. The gummed up gear selector sensor/switch was the most fun. Not sure any of this will help, but it will give you some places to look

With further review of this. I do remember there being 2 different types of sending units. One was like $12 and the other was way more expensive..... In the 88 I had the Stealership replace the entire Positive Lead from the Battery.... In doing so it changed the connector to the Oil Sending unit and the new cabling did not match up with the old sending unit, the Stealership replaced the sending unit with the one that fit the new connector.... When the sending unit started blowing oil into the starter causing it to fail..... Replaced the Starter(life time Warrenty) Make sure you clean it up before taking it back for replacement. I also took in the sending unit and had them match the connectors... I do not remember the cost on the OSU but I do know it was more than $20 at Napa.

Now im green with envy -bounce- ... Now I need to let you borrow the JWT Pop Charger and see what kind of difference that makes for you with the Headers:)

I am on the verge of ordering it. I have this thing about seeing it first. Trying to make arrangements for a friend of my from over there to go look at it before I $$$$$. And if they are headed this way I get to save $50. I will know more on friday... they open on Saturday??? 3.5 hours to get there myself hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

Also some times the switches for the doors and rear hatch will stick. Just check them and if they do not push in easily or are jamed up, give em some TLC(Clean out the grit and grime)
