Congrats on the toy's If a PH8A is to big for where you install it, I can get you the Bosch part number for a shorter filter (same diameter) which was used on some older Chryslers after they changed to bigger steering boxes which reduced the amount of room for a filter... at least that is my understanding That is what I currently have installed on my dual... I bought them instead because I was not sure if I could get two full sized filter in there, but after placing it I know now that I can fit them. I originally picked up four of those filters (buy one get one free) its been one month since I installed it and just put the other two on. My next oil change... next month I will be going with the full sized ones... see how that works

WTF! Yeah as GG said, if done right many of them look fine.

Towns are flooding around western WA as we speak, in the county next to me the Puyallup River will be over the banks within the next 30mins. The Nisqually River here is very high, it's threatening to flood my brothers house if this keeps up. Mud slids are begining to happen in verious areas now too

I'll second that, everything around here is flooding right now... my driveway is a lake again and parts of the walkway are doing the same. The local car wash is under water (vacuum/entry areas) as are many other parking lots and sections of streets. It has not stopped even for a second all day and looks like it will continue for some time. EDIT: The wind has been up and down all day and part of last night

I don't think there is enough room in the Nissans, but with my yota I moved the turns into the corners by adding two sockets in each corner assembly (one above and one below the corner marker light sockets)

Things like this is what makes this forum so great ------------------------------------------- This reminds me a little of our trip to Steadman's Hole a long time ago.. buddies '89 yota got stuck in it... Damned IFS, he let of a little to early and instead of sliding on the frame and into the last part of the hole, he stopped on his frame... front tires spinning in thin mud and rear to light to do anything. When we first got there (and when he got stuck) it was raining, by the time we got him out there was almost an inch of snow on the ground... and it was almost 3am *But we did send a guy to Rainier Market around 1am for a beer run After getting him out we headed to a buddies house and "talked" about it over drinks

It will be fine.. the real danger is vandals and thieves. You not in anything deep,have not bashed rocks so everything underneath should be fine. Don't worry about the disks rusting, they are in the elements 100% of the time (unless you garage it) and any rust that develops will be gone after a bit of driving

Man that sucks... I hate the idea of leaving a rig anywhere when it is stuck. Someone with mud tires and preferable a winch would be best. Do you have a come a long (manaul winch), hilift jack or know anyone with either of them? Can you get a line from your truck to the power line tower to allow you to pull it out? *If I lived closer to the border I would be willing to come up and help you... but I am half way down WA State, some 5hrs and 250miles away

It makes it easier to change the filter. It also adds a "little" extra oil capacity because of the hoses and even more with a dual filter relo kit.

What type of plugs did you buy and have you noticed a power loss as well? *No matter what plug you bought, alway's check and adjust the gap before installing them, do not trust that they were gappaed correctly for your vehicle at the factory

The Econ button makes the tranny shift later to enable you to get heavy loads going easier, the OD is to save fuel on the freeway. You can use OD with the tranny in power mode and you will still save fuel because of OD. Note that the econ button does not change the gearing/gear ratio, it simply makes the tranny shift later to help get loads moving. In some cases you may find that the load is to heavy for OD to be effective, or while driving in some areas you may find that it constantly shifts in and out of OD. In those cases you want to turn OD off, because it is not really good for the tranny to be constantly shifting. One other thing, power mode can be effective when used on hills too, such as through mountain pass's, where you may find the roads are very uneven (up and down) and filled with many corners which require you to slow down a lot on steep hills

Automatic Transmission, Power/Economy selector. It changes the shift points for the tranny... shifts earlier to save gas or set it to shift later for added power. Use the power setting when towing a heavy load or times when the tranny just shifts to soon for what you are doing.
