  1. No doubt, this is potentially GREAT info for 2005 and up PF owners, I just wonder if it will cover dead tranny's because of the rad failure?
  2. no doubt, add some lights and subtract some stickers
  3. 19" for front, don't remember back
  4. I don't know, that was a pretty piss poor selection of off road tires too
  5. Hey all, I just saw the above mentioned tranny on CL close to my house for $150, will it fit? Would I have to use a different ECU? It just got me thinking that if it was an easy swap that seems like a good price for a manual, or am I
  6. try keylessride.com they have aftermarket ones that IMO are better made (last much longer)and cheaper than the originals, it's what I use. Search keyless ride on ebay, they used to sell them even cheaper in their ebay store
  7. just curious, I had a problem with autozone reman alternators before, and the starter I put in about a year ago is a reman from Oreilly, after about 3 weeks it wouldn't engage the flywheel completely for about a week, I thought I was going to have to pull it out and take it back but it has since acted OK. Seems as though it is hit and miss on these reman parts from auto stores as to whether they are actually any good or not. One of the alternators I got from auto zone would charge great for about the first 10 minutes after startup and quit completely so when it was bench tested it always passed, after finally adding an in cabin volt gauge I figured it out and demanded a new one.
  8. I have an old 10-22, is that all synthetic? Mine is a old school hand me down (all wood) but the 10-22 is a classic plinking fun gun for sure
  9. how about the 3rd gen prelude's with all wheel steering ?
  10. "trans replacement on the pathfinder, that was a killer" now that would be a good write up with pics and all. Check out some of Dr Bills write ups (there are many other good ones by others, his just came to mind first since his was the last I looked at) they include many specific pics and specific descriptions - they help alot.
  11. poho is the general shoot the bull chat thread. I would bet most people here DO change their own oil. It almost sounds like maybe you havn't wandered around here enough yet, go look in the garage section. Hell I've taken my alty out and replaced it again so many times I could probably do it with my eyes closed. And yes the alty belt is easy to adjust, what is even easier is the AC belt, check that out. Don't get frustrated because most of us (if not all) know that the alty belt is easy to adjust, we're all friendly folks so don't take it the wrong way bro.
  12. I thought maybe that is what you meant but does that come with mounting hardware in the $100? (I thought it could have been a typo too) If so thats a hell of a deal for $100
  13. yeah I do too, I went rancho rear and Rough country (Heckethorn) front after my pro comps and I definitely like the pro comps, I don't like soft shocks especially up front, wish I still had my pro comps up there
  14. where do you put the 5th one?
  15. could always come here and ask what size tires will fit your stock wd21 hahahahhahahhahahahha

    PCV

Hey all, I've looked in my chiltons and the FSM and they both have the same exact info. Some goofy cartoon kid blowing through a hose or something and some other cartoon drawings with arrows going around the crankcase. Does anyone have a pic or can explain where and how to change the PCV valve?
