  1. Indeed! What matters is we all love our pathy's! Be that its good bad or ugly. Now enough hippy love crap :-) In reality I'm just P'O'ed because my 87 doesn't allow me the $60 snorkel option :-)
  2. lol no, I can't say I have. Its hard enough to find a idaho grown product in idaho unless your picking it out of the fields. We ship all of ours out and ship washington stuff in :-) Although I have had to circle the wagons a few times, the native americans like to rile the horses.
  3. I am a fan of function over form myself.
  4. A few years ago I got: You live in idaho? Do you guys still have to circle the wagons when the indians attack? as well as: Do you ever just pull a potato out of the ground and eat it?
  5. What makes your first gen pathy unique? Pics and descripitons appreciated! My mods: Kitchen Island map lights from home depot Inverted toolbox/switch control center on dash w/extra 12v outlets KC Daylighters on light bar Generic Spotlights on light bar Side-facing fog lights on light bar In progress: Cobra CB/PA setup. Next project: Dual Batteries.
  6. This is the reason I don't get along with most people. Below average intelligence and dis-respect combine to form the scum of society. I don't have a avid history with 4x4'ing (yet). Where ever I've gone has (to my knowledge) been public land or private land I've had rights to (welcome to rural southern ID life).
  7. Sorry about that, it looks quite green on my monitor! Might be time to retire the old monitor on the shooting range. But even on a old monitor it looks better than the stock light blue that my rig is wearing.
  8. Where do you guys mount your PA speakers? Pics and descriptions would be appreciated! Just bought this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=5771917142 and am trying to figure out where to put it, either somewhere under the hood or on my roof light bar??
  9. This is my first time (and only time) I've been stuck. Ventured to near a boggy lake and was hub-deep in lake mud before I knew it. That and I had no gear with me. The 2x4 and some pallets were scavenged but to no avail. Waited till the next day and paid a guy from ORI $50 to come pull me out. Now I'm a lot more paranoid about the gear in my truck. Thats what I get for not being a boy scout.
  10. Do like the look of the stock light bar - definatlely a rare thing to have. Also love the dark green color! Very Nice looking truck!
  11. I bought a 20ft lenght of coax yesterday with a cb connection ending with two spade connections. Now where do I attatch the individual spade connections? The antannea is a 102" whip with a ball mount.
  12. Seeing how I bought my pathy for $450 bucks, I'm not that worried about its value either :-)
  13. If you guys want to get really geeky with all this, head over to www.mp3car.com for their forums. They mostly deal with carputers but they might know some stuff about ipod integration as well. Just an idea.
  14. Well You could run without a roll cage and be fine I would imagine. I just wouldn't roll it again without one
  15. I had a set of 285/75/16 on my 94 GMC, they were awesome, never had any problems with them. Have a set of cooper discovery snow tires on my pathy right now, wouldn't mind a non-studded set :-)
  16. I'd certainly like to see that if you want to attempt it :-)
  17. Aye, you can rest assured that if had caught those two lil basitids yesterday they would have personally felt the wrath of my rusty spoon. Only because the .45 is shy and likes to hide indoors.
  18. Agreed, Looks Sick Man! Keep us updated if you get that body lift put on!
  19. Yeah, it would have been different in my GTI, or hell, even my pathy. But on my Cannondale? Ha ha ha suckers! My femur popped a hole in your right rear tire! And good to know not everyone under 18 is bad :-) Hell I'm only 22 myself.
  20. Do I just need to run a ground wire from the antannea base to somewhere on the chassis? Well I mounted mine dead center on the spare tire rack, right below the squar-ish opening in the back of the carrier. Makes it easy to take off in a hurry if I hit some clearance issues. Its a 102" whip so It extends a healthy distance above the roofline. I just need some coax cable and I'm set, *payday payday payday*, then a PA speaker of course, but thats not crucial to CB operations.
  21. So I'm riding my mtn bike back to work today after eating lunch. I took my usual path through subdivisions/parks to avoid main avenues. Who wants to breath smog? Anyways, right as I got out of the park and into a subdivision I hear a roar of an engine and then honking, I look back and theres a mid-90's suburban tearing my way, horn blazing, so I haul hiney onto the curb and off into a grassy area and stop. As I turn and look there were two teenage males, maybe around 16-17 laughing at me and flipping me off as they powered by. Does anyone else notice a problem with this? Is this world NOT going to hell? Stuff like this does nothing but infuriate me. Those two brats are lucky they didn't get caught at the construction going on round the corner
  22. I did a search and this and came up with a few questions. I read that you can't mount an antannea on the swing out carrier? And also, I notice that there are plastic pads isolating the antannea mount, but wouldn't it ground out via the bolt attatching it? How do you properly ground a ground-plane antannea? Also, 88, any luck using an exploder sub amp to fuel a PA speaker?
  23. D*MN! I know what I'm doing, soon as I pick up a propane torch :-)
