  1. I've been told to switch to a semi-synthetic and then go full synthetic the next time around. I trust you guys, I was just wondering if you knew of a reason why my friend would say that. Also, I have 165,000 on my '95... should I bother switching? I was actually going to switch the next oil change but if it leaks maybe not.
  2. You mean these? I've seen about 7 sets running around Cornelius alone!
  3. Air filter and then exhaust. Then I'd call it good. If I'm correct, doesn't somebody make cold-airs for the R50's? Wasn't sure.
  4. Oh man! I was thinking it had to be staged because it was so stupid! But that's a nice Jeep... not even an idiot would drown it on purpose.
  5. No. Mud adds character. Dirt is on minivans at the library. Huge difference.
  6. Black. Looks the best until you get a little dirt on it and then it becomes the worst.
  7. Sorry, different source of information (the guy at Optima). No matter, problem fixed!
  8. I hope it runs on air otherwise it's useless. And I'm also ashamed that I own a Nissan now. At least GM can make their hydrogen car look halfway decent.
  9. I know your battery is fine, but just for future reference. A new battey actually has 14.8 or so volts. When it gets to about 12 volts, it's about time to replace it.
  10. I know that dude. I meant to ask would 15x7's make so much of a difference that I would notice it?
  11. I'm thinking we should just drop the whole XE and SE business. Not just spoiler-wise, but for about anything. My XE is better equipped than half the SE's out there and I've come to learn that it does nothing but provide bragging rights.
  12. R3M, you seem to already be very knowledgeable about 4x4's (you had a Samauri) and now I have a question that you made me think of. You said running 15x7's would increase handling over 15x6's. True, the 15x6's aren't meant to fit 31's, but hoe much of an improvement are we talking here? I'm running 31x10.50 on my 15x6 and it seems alright to me. And welcome!
  13. Welcome fellow '95 owner! Cool truck, ain't she?
  14. Welcome! Stick around and bring your other '05 Pathfinder friends.
  15. Now are we talking 168 hours or 4 hours here, 4 hours there. Because when you add it all up... it'll be around 50 hours (a complete guess sorry for the possible inaccuracy. just trying to convey my idea). Get the idea? Extremely complicated.
  16. Absolutely! Nobody else out there has what I have and I'm damn proud of that!
  17. I thought all Pathfinders had the rear wipers, but some had the additional spoiler as well. It also keeps dirt off the rear window when driving in dusty conditions (how many of us drive that fast in dust I don't know).
  18. Nice story. You should think about writing a book.

www.rocky-road.com sells them. I bought my Thorleys from them and they are a good company to deal with.
  20. I don'r really consider myself a weekend warrior, but my Pathfinder goes off-road more than rarely. Can we put a level in between on our profiles?
  21. TeenZombie01, mine used to grind slightly when I pull it back from 2HI to 4HI on the fly. I assume that's what you heard. But after I started using 4x4 more often it sort of died away and doesn't do it anymore. Strange but I always shift on the fly.
  22. I've compared Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood, Infinity, and MA Audio speakers and I like the Sonys the least, then Kenwoods, then Pioneers, then MA Audios, and I like Infinity the best. True, Infinitys are sort of pricey sometimes, but my speakers that are worth 200/pair... I got 4 for 60 off Ebay. Sure they're refurbed but they sound like new. As for decks, I've had trouble with Alpine and Blaupunkt. JVC was awesome for how much I paid and my Sony just plain kicks ass.
  23. I'd say they were lucky to sell it at a garage sale at all. They could of gotten more off Ebay. Looks awesome though! Your truck is one of the few that I idolize as much as my own Pathfinder!
  24. It's pretty basic. First you have to pop off the lower plastic piece (around and under the steering wheel). That will reveal two screws which you undo. Then you take off the two in the top of the black bezel above the gauges. Then I believe there are two more below that cover. Then you bring out the whole gauge assembly, unplug it, and take it to your workbench and start unscrewing stuff. Be careful with the clear plastic, as it is most likely too brittle to be manipulated much... I broke mine and a new one was $20-$30 I can't remember.
