I enjoy driving fast more than I disenjoy filling up at the gas pump. So that means I'm the idiot that rushes from light to light. Is disenjoy a word?

I just barely got my personal picture and Pathfinder Info in there about a month ago. I'm glad you mentioned this Jim, I was starting to get a little annoyed. But only ever so slightly annoyed.

Are you replacing a factory system, or are you starting fresh? It seems to me that it would be easier to upgrade an existing alarm than to start brand new.

The edge of the steering wheel looks different from ours in the US. Could I have a full steering wheel shot just for curiosity's sake?

I think it's somewhere around $100 to have a truck pull you out... so $600 tires, twice I've been pulled out... only four more times before I make all my money back.
-
Of course, you have 2-wheel drive and go places that 4x4's go. I get stuck in places my Prelude would go through (an extreme exaggeration) because I simply don't know how to off-road. I bought my BFGoodrich A/T's when they offered the recovery program and they have had to send a truck out for me twice and I've only been off-road 5 times since I got the tires. That recovery program is really paying off... they will yank me out for free anywhere the truck can get back to. Since I usually go to new neighborhood developments to mess around, a truck can winch me out from the road.

Yeah, I'd bet the 2-doors are better off without a back seat. I know that I almost took out my back seat in my Prelude to have an excuse not to take people home after school... I HATED how long it took for them to tilt the seat forward and slowly crawl out.

In my area I only see another WD21 about twice a week. I've only seen a two-door in person twice... hard to believe but I'm not joking. Anyways, since I mostly come across R50's and new 2005 Pathfinders, maybe we should put an R50 picture on there? I don't know about everybody else's area, but I bet everyone sees 8 R50's for every 1 WD21.

That is an awesome idea! Do you apply the decal on their truck or do you just leave it with the backing stuff on under a wiper? I can't bring myself to put such a large decal on my truck. I think I'm going to download the picture and email it to my local sign shop and have them make one about have that size. I'll have to buy some from here to slap on local Pathfinders! I can't wait!

I don't wheel often enough to tell you guys, but I enjoy old-school alternative. My favorites are Live, Collective Soul, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. I'm not much of a country fan, but that Pickin' Wildflowers by Keith Anderson is awesome.

I just worked out my MPG and I got 16.8. I'm throwing a party in light of the event.

I found it by searching for something specific, bookmarked it and that was all I ever visited NPORA for a couple of months. I can't remember why I didn't stay. Then some NPORA forum members on 88's WD21 forum convinced me to move in permanently.

Rust is more of a New England thing, not an east coast thing.

How many are cosidering ditching their Pathy?

I've been considering selling my Pathfinder and getting one exactly like it except with a manual. I've been watching for one, I'd rather get it before I drop a lot of money into my current one. -
In the South, we usually don't get much snow. We get ice instead. Ice is way more dangerous than snow and I cannot get out of my neighborhood in 2WD when the roads are iced over. When I give it the slightest gas and have the wheel cocked a little to the left it'll spit the rear end out. It can be fun in empty parking lots, but VERY dangerous on the road with other cars.

The Dayton's are the exact same as Bridgestone Duelers. I've heard great things about Dueler A/T's and M/T's.

I've heard chips can be very beneficial for trucks, especially diesels. However, I have also heard that Venom products are all crap in general. I think JET makes a chip... if a chip is what you choose to go with, I think JET has better products. Better yet, send you ECU into Jim Wolfe and get it reprogrammed.

Oh yeah, I'm a huge fan of Infinity. I've had MA Audio speakers, Pioneer speakers, and have installed Sony Xplod speakers and Kenwood speakers. I'd say that quality from lowest to highest would be Kenwood, Sony, Pioneer, MA Audio, then Infinity. It really all depends on how much you pay though. The Sony Xplods I have heard were only $30 per pair wereas the Infinty's were listed at $100 per pair when I got them.

Actually your question help a lot of us here. I was going to try this sometime and the answers should help me as well as you.

I don't think so. These were made in Japan and I don't think they would make them differant just for a different state in the US. The write-up is very good though, complete with pictures. Someday I'll get around to a Grant wheel and I'm sure this will be a useful How-To.

I've realized that if you're passing a cop going the opposite direction, you have to be going really fast to make him turn around and come after you. I was going 65-70 in a 45 and passed a cop... he looked at me but didn't do anything.

The fronts are not components. They have two regular 2-way speakers in the doors and tweeters in the pillars. Component speakers would be a 5x7 woofer with a seperate tweeter. They work great to replace the old speakers, but they are also pricey.

Little change to the front end coming soon

...and the clear corners with black trim. -
I would never try to outpace a cop. Actually, I'll admit that if I was in big trouble and on a crotch rocket I'd probably give the cop a run for his money. I have a few friends who are aquainted with some officers and they say that if someone on a bike tries to run, they just let them go because there's nothing that they can do to keep up. Just my immature 2 cents.
