  1. I use the Camaro for racing. The Pathfinder is for cruising. When I acccelerate at 2000 rpm thats usually about the speed that the traffic around me is accelerating at. I'll post a pic later today of the airbox.

Well, even if you allow the truck to shift at 3000RPM its still fairly decent. Its not break-your-neck speed. I feel 3000 is just right. 3500... well, that's a little more than needed to get off the line. sly

  2. So I stop by 4 Wheel Parts today to order some wheels and the guy says he might not be able to put them on since they might rub. I'll still be running my 30x9.5 for a while till I get the BFGs on Tuesday. Will it rub with that backspacing with 30s? Will it rub when I move up to the 31x10.50?

  3. he found when it was fully spooled it was cutting his synthetic line.....(the ARB Bumper that is)

personally i really like the tube bumpers, but i would like them better if the gaps were filled in....a little more protection....

Think of it this way. There's less wind resistance, which in turn allows for better fuel economy. Probably gain back all those mpgs lost due to bigger rubber. :hide:

  4. Not too sure where to as this, didn't want to start another infamous tire thread but.

What's the biggest tire that can fit underneath an R50s spare tire compartment?

Getting tires and wheels, and thought maybe even getting a 5th set to replace my stock spare. Doesn't look good with a chrome spare with 3 black wheels rolling down the street. Never had to drop the spare tire to check the size (knock on wood), but I'm assuming its a 30.

  5. ya i got myself and a friend (jeep grand cherokee) starting to see about putting some time into our trucks, now at this point cause of cost, i know a body lift would be cheaper, but for the sake of better performance would a body lift or suspension be the better choice at this point, anyone outta las vegas, nv or that particular area? nothin but dry stuff around us hehe

and thanks for the welcome :D

You're right about that. Nothing but dirt. I live around Blue Diamond / Rainbow area. Where you located?

  6. Nice... I was thinking, why didn't he just change the fuel and temp guage? I thought it would look better with it all changed.

Was it difficult to remove the cluster? A friend of mine pulled his off and painted the bulbs. Looked pretty sweet when he lit them up. I was thinking of doing the same.

I think we're all waiting for some night pics..
