  1. My light doesn't even light up, I've seen it once, but thats when the needle was below the Empty mark. The longest I've driven when I saw the light was 4 miles. Like Pezzy said, paranoid.

Did they increase the tank size in your model year? That day that I the light did warn me, I filled up to 15.5 gallons. I thought it was only a 16gal. A 20 would be awesome, less fills.

  2. A few months ago when I was up in the Sequoia Mountains I backed into a 12 foot tree stump. How did I not see a tree with a 6 foot diameter? Hell if I know. I messed up the bumper. (bent the chrome corner and popped out the parts the held the bumper to the fender) Just today, my wife backed into a small concrete pole in the parking garage at work, didn't bend anything, but scratched it. No big deal. I think, that's 2. Not sure if I want to see what happens the third time around. You know what they always say, everything happens in threes. So, I thinkm its time for a steel bumper, a real bumper. That won't break or bend. I've seen many of the R50s on here with moded front bumpers but no rear. Nick and Pezzy have nice front bumpers. Maybe even a front to go along with the rear. :)

  3. Thanks Pezzy :)

I've seen places where its been relocated, but only on the WD21s, if anyone has pics of the filter relocation on their R50 that would be great. Would be much easier to change it if we didn't have to remove that plate.

But unlike navygz19, my splash guard is there buts breaking apart. So a REAL skid plate will be a great idea.

  4. I read that the Defender plate was 65lbs. What's the weight of the 10g and the 3/16? Wonderings if its going to be a PITA to remove for oil changes since the truck will only be supported by the tension of the coils and the air in its tires. Until I get the rhino ramps!

  5. The Pathy is a safe vehicle in accidents, despite the fact that it easily rolls over.

We were new to Las Vegas 3 years ago and my mom accidently missed a stop sign and was hit on the left rear door that caused the truck to roll over to its right side. She was wearing her seatbelt which was good. Only suffered a bruise on her right thigh from the seat belt clip, or whatever you call that thing.

Didn't startup for a couple days, but when it did. Boy was there a lot of black smoke. Where do you think the oil spilled into.

We repaired the left side, and replaced the windshield, front pass and left cargo window but the dings and scratches are still there. (liability insurance only at the time, didn't think anthing would happend after 1 month of owning it)

Hired a guy 2 years ago to fix it but he only sprayed primer on it and ditched. Didn't even sand it. ****** job even.

  6. No tips for the R50-ish? bah!

Anyone ever use/heard of this product? I tried it out once, should I continue to use it? I've read some good things about it, just wondering if anyone else on here has.

  7. Inside the lamp cover is some sort of debris and possibly a dead spider! (Yes, I have had spiders repel down from the headliner while driving! I swerved across two lanes on the freeway it freaked me out so bad!!! :X

Hahaha, I've always wondered how things get up in there. I once had a dead gecko in there. This reminds me of how terrified my aunt is with geckos. She was pulled over for going 65 in a 35 and the first thing that came out of her mouth when the cop approached the window, with the window still shut, was, "Could you get the gecko off my windshield?" Amazingly, the cop let her go, after he removed the gecko... I couldn't stop laughing when she told me that.
