the only problem with this setup is that if you flick your lights to bright, you'll lose all the other lights as the fogs go off when you turn on the brights.
just run a completely seperate circuit for your extra lights.. it's not any harder plus you won't have to splice into any original wireing. make sure to put in an inline fuse too. it took me maybe 2h to do this.. getting through the firewall was the hardest as the main harness gasket is tight, tight, tight.. good luck.
If you think about it, with all those extra lights, there wouldn't be a reason to use the brights at all.

Max Stryker's rig is pretty much a go anywhere and everywhere rig.
For an R50 to do that, the mods done do it would have to be more than nothing-too-extreme.

yes you can buy a brighter bulb. i think a 168 is the brightest you can go. but they do not make 168 colored bulbs. the other choice is a 194. I run a 194R which is a red bulb, i like the plane cockpit look

Projekz, I've been wanting to do the same for a while. I'm wanting blue also since my headunit and radar detector have blue lights. Are you planning on replacing everything? Speedo. A/C controls, and shifter?

90seven, Which way will you be going, through Cold Creek and over to Pahrump, or from Pahrump to Cold Creek?
And when are you planning to go? I haven't been up in that area since the fire a few years ago.

My wheels are 3.75 backspacing. From what I've read regarding the rub. I may be experiencing a little more than most have. But it looks good when they stick out a little further. If you do go with the 3.75, be preapred to cut or fold your wheel wells. Good luck!

Small aftermarket? Try searching for any for the R50 lol. Oh, I really don't think its the aftermarkets that's the problem, its finding one that the VGs actually respond to. None work.

I added that Vortec Cyclone....like the tornado thing... yeah yeah, as seen TV...
but I seen a 1-3 gain on the highway.. plus I have the K&N....maybe thats the reason...but that magnet thing??? hate to admit, but i DID consider it... 
I just purchased this. Awaiting its arrival. Is the mileage you received them still consistant today? ProTex Twister. I got two, one for the Pathy and one for the Alty. I've always wondered how it worked. The concept of it sounds convincing enough. And its cheap, so what the hell.
