  1. What keeps it from peeling is the prep work. I used a degreaser everywhere. And then i used 150 grit sand paper right up to the masking.
  2. Thanks for the props guys. I really like the way it came out. As far as useing 10 cans. Besides spraying the truck, i did both bumpers, tail light covers and the wing in the back. Plus on the can it said to put 2 to 3 coats. I put on 4 coats. Maybe a little overkill.
  3. Well it took me three days, a can of bondo, allot of sand paper and 10 cans of bed liner. But its done. Im in the process of putting the rest of the pics on photo bucket. Here is the finished product.
  4. That is exactly what i am doing starting tomorrow. Personally i really like the way the spray bed liner goes on. I tried two different kinds, ( Below ) and i chose the Dupli-color over the Plasti-kote for a few reasons. The Dupli-color came out very evenly and the Plasti-kote came out to quick ( larger hole in nozzle ). The Dupli-color had a very nice uniform finish. The Dupli-color was 3 Dollars less a can. :cool2: On the back of the can it tells you what grit sand paper to use and you dont need primer.
  5. Hey Trail, thats the same wheel i want. Where did you your cruise control buttons? Nice interior too :cool2:
  6. Now that i think of it, I agree with 88 also. Mabey i will try doing it with square holes instead of round. I'll work on it. And yeh, if you do good prep job the bed liner will stick to pretty much anything. I sprayed my plastic tail light covers and they came out really nice. I also sprayed the wing on the back and my rear bumper. :cool2:
  7. I just love the way the sh!t looks. And you dont sound rude bro. Everybody has their own likes and dislikes. Its all good in the NPORA hood.

  9. By the time i get done every accent on my truck will be sprayed with bed liner
  10. I have the same problem. I have replaced all four door push buttons. And it still gave me the same problem. I believe it is the three way switch assembly on the ceiling. I have fiddled with it before and got it to work for a while. But then a couple hours later the light is back on. So i just leave it off. Its on the bottom of my to do list. If you figure anything out let us know
  11. Does anybody know if this works http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Magnetic-Ga...000484413QQrdZ1
  12. I have a 95 and i use my keyless entry every day. I can control all four door locks to go up and down from the button on my arm rest. And when i push my door lock down, the other three go down also. But when i pull up on my door lock, the other three stay down. When i use the keyless entry remote to lock the truck, the alarm beeps once and all four corner lights blink once. When i push the keyless entry remote to unlock the truck, the alarm beeps twice and the four corner lights blink twice. The alarm works great also. It actually went off the other day when my son was messing around with it. I have never heard an alarm like that ever. It cycles through what sounds like four or five different alarms and then they all sound at the same time. Its really wacky But effective. Sorry that i kinda rambled on but i hope what i said answered your question. good luck
  13. Nice job! Doing it yourself is the way to go
  14. Mine were fused so bad i had to put them in a vise and take atorch to them. Pulled new ones out of a pathy in a junk yard. I inspect them every 3 or 4 months now. :cool2: Good luck

  16. I NEW IT!!!!!! Thanks Guys youmade my day! One more thing off my worry list! :cool2:
  17. Hey Clint, There is a thread or two about checking the ECU codes. Try the search button and i will try to find it also. But real quick i wanted to mention, I have a 95 and haveing this problem also. I have been doing alittle experiment. About 2 months ago this happend to me and some one was talking about cleaning the MAF sensor. That didnt work. But! i jiggled the wires leading into the sensor and the idle went up and down then back to normal and the problem went away. So a month later the problem came back and i jiggled the wires again. The same thing happend again. Idle went up then down and back to normal and the problem went away. its been about a month and a half now. Just waiting to see if it happens again to prove my case. Now if this is the case, i guess its some thing in the connection. So with the truck running try it out and let us know what happens. Rick

  19. Does anyone know exactly where to fill the truck with coolant. When i went to fill it the nozzel wouldnt fit. I was wondering if there was an in and out. The can talked about fill the lower A/C line. Thanks
  20. A guy that i work with told me he uses this stuff and says it is great. http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?itemTyp...GORY&itemID=372
  21. You could spray it with bed liner. Hides any imperfections. I'm about to go crazy with the stuff. Or you could leave the rack off and throw the tire on the roof. :cool2:
