  1. G'day all, Would anyone here in Oz happen to have a spare TD27 alternator lying around? I have a mate who's alty gave out on the weekend and he has been quoted 600 bucks to replace it. If you do happen to have one, let me know how much you would part with it for and I will pass it on. Cheers
  2. Crap mate, your having a rough trot of it so far. Hope you have some luck getting the trailer back on the road and the pathy sorted.
  3. At least your able to fix it when you need to. You only have the straight boring bit to go now.
  4. I think it may be genuine, look what was posted up today. http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...mp;#entry401396
  5. Cyril, have you got your truck on the road yet? Let us know how it goes off-road
  6. Rugged Rocks or 4x4parts have them, not sure where else over there.
  7. I remember seeing a post somewhere here from a bloke who replaced his with RHS steel. Heaps stronger, as they become an integrated slider. Cant remember where I saw it though.
  8. Happy birthday guys, hope its a good one.
  9. Yep, CV's. Mine click in both 4hi and 4 lo. Just got to find the time to do them.
  10. Safe journeys bud, catch ya when you get here.
  11. Yep, 270 for a radio/antenna package. The Aus Cobra dealer only has marine radios listed, so not sure if they can get them.
  12. I would be looking at the combination switch, possibly a contact in there that has fused shut. Other than that I have never heard of this happening.
  13. I dont understand how they are soooooo cheap over there, here for an entry level CB you are looking at $225 dollars, I have never even heard of a Cobra brand here.
  14. Cool mate, there is an aluminium security door fab shop across the road from where I work. Here is a taste of whats here for ya, went mudding today, its only 10 minutes from my place
  15. Congrats on the gift mate, welcome to the madness. Judging by the list above, I'd say she is already fit for wheeling.
  16. What sort of work are you after? I will keep an ear out here if you like, starting money not great, but there are plenty of hours at the moment available to make up for it. With the pics you need to open an account with a webhost, I use photobucket, from there all you need to do is copy the IMG link for the pic you are after. Are the kids ready for the road trip?
  17. 8 months til I can put in my membership to become an official member of NPORA. Once you settle in over here, we will all have to get together for a run, even just an easy day, bbq and a beer or 2.
  18. I think we join up to PCoA (cost us $80.00 each, then 50 bucks for every year after that), that way we can still organise official trips and be covered under the clubs insurance, I know there are people in QLD and SA running this way. Just have to have a trip co-ordinator nominated, which between the 2 of us we can do no worries.
  19. The other option is to try to get a WA chapter of PCOA up and running, I know there are a few members of the forum over here
  20. Yeah mate, I have thought about starting a little NIssan off road club, for the Terry/Pathy drivers, even the X-trails for sand runs. But wouldn't have a clue where to start with organising it. Need public liability ins and stuff, but I guess if its more a social group, then there isn't any worries.
  21. Not sure what they are like, but Northside 4wd club is up that way. I have been planning to join a 4wd club, but never got around to it. I would go for one a bit closer to home though. http://www.wa4wda.com.au/Northside/index.html
  22. Top job dagz, my next house will be established, we had this one built for us, but I think I want a bit of a challenge.
  23. They are still getting over the shock of watching my TD throwing soot out the exhaust.
  24. They look great, but the cost to ship to me would be out way the value of the shirt. I might look into one of our embroidery companies we use at work to get a hat and shirt done. I would do a beanie, but it doesnt get that cold here.
