  1. 2 pins and some electrical (at least speaker wires) Cut and put connectors on the wires, then pull the pins. The pins are stubborn the first time out, but after that they are pretty easily removed.
  2. I might just have to break out the welder and make a set for my 88.
  3. At one time I was going to make them for the front of the D21s (back when I worked in a fab shop), but never got around to that project. They would be very simple to make.
  4. 2" body lift, 2" suspension lift, factory flares.
  5. I hope it's not true in your case, but usually reverse going out is the first sign the tranny has gone to hell.
  6. :secret: That's what I have on mine in my sig pic
  7. Old theory, but very true in most cases. My 88 Pathfinder died while I was going around a corner the other day. Wouldn't restart either, checked my fuses, they were fine, poped the hood and found a wire hanging there unconnected, the coil wire. Pluged it back in and went on my way.
  8. Um, no that is not a good looking Panhard Bar.
  9. Not the coast, but more midwest, Columbus, Ohio here.
  10. The steering stops are stock, look on the back of your spindles and you'll see what look like 2 useless bolts sticking out (one in front and one behind).
  11. Both of mine have broken bolts, no troubles beyond the noise. I'll have the parts to replace them, just not the patience to get in there and do it.
  12. Yeah, even with stock wheels/tires the front will go / \ when under torque thanks to our wonderfully engineered steering.
  13. Me too, I dented my quarter panel trying to bump the body back and align that bolt on the passenger side. pssd
  14. A friend of mine and I put electric keys into our vehicles when we were in college. All it was was a jumper we put in the ignition wires, but unless you knew what the connector was for and jumped it some how you couldn't start it. I use my lighter for a power source.
  15. For that matter a slide hammer in the lock will pop the whole thing right out of the door.
  16. Well, what will probably happen is that without the back wall added for an open air ride. It's all about the triangle pop out windows too
  17. Just one of many concept ideas I have:
  18. Contrary to what ever he is thinking cranking up the T-bars doesn't hurt anything as long as you keep clearance from your bumpstops and get it alligned afterward (that's why they put adjusters on the end ).
  19. I've thought about getting a set similar to those, just because my 88s locks are shot and any flat object can open them. Not to mention it would be cheaper to go with something like that over a properly keyed replacement for my truck. Hell, once I chop the top the door locks will be useless anyway sly
  20. I'm at 100k with my 93 and 200k with my 88
  21. I plan on the black paint for my 88, but some better wheels than the legos.
