  1. I agree, any radial would be a much better tire for road use. But offroad, as far as Interco goes, Bogger is best, followed by LTB.
  2. Guess it is just the fact that Kyle ( the owner of KMA) is a member of NOAS and a friend of Nate's (one of NOAS's old timers) and where he gets all his work done, is what makes me even suggest the company as an option. Guess I just know who to bitch at if things don't happen....
  3. The Nissan manual should be the most exact. That said, don't think that that amount is what has to be there. if it calls for 2 quarts in the diff and it overflows the fill hole at 1 3/4 quarts, then that's full, don't try to figure out how to get another 1/4 quart in, it is fine. The capacities listed should just give you a basic idea of how much it needs, following the directions for checking the various fluids to see that they are at the proper levels is what you should be more concerend with.
  4. So he can tell you you need the reducers, but can't measure the pipe he is reducing to?
  5. You can probably get a new one trough AC for less. I'd probably buy a KMA bumper before I bought an ARB though.
  6. Notice neither of those have a center? 96+ have airbags. Otherwise, I'm not sure which other Nissans have the same steering shaft, and the only years like yours were 94&95 for Pathfinders.
  7. Yeah, one of those kits will get you going with the basics. Then just fill in the gaps piece by piece as needed.
  8. Casing or heat sheild? As for the pans they shouldn't have been undercoated to begin with, just painted.
  9. Tranny cooler only, Ford Explorer or other truck or SUV with a V-6 or larger under the hood. Engine oil cooler would actualy be a bad idea since you live in PA, even those that live in hot regions don't need one. (Unless you plan to be running your engine at 7k+ RPM continuously that is.) Quest or Maxima alternator would be good, but not needed unless you are running a lot of lights, stereo equipment or a winch. Why are you so stuck on getting new pans? What you have are fine unless they are punctured or bent up REALLY bad.
  10. Yeah, only place to get a finned pan would be to have one made custom.
  11. My cruise doesn't run through there, 93 and older it's on the trun signal lever
  12. You obviously don't if you are posting that. They are great on rock, and amazing if you sipe them first. I've wheeled with a bunch of people who were running them and all they do is grip. Problem is most people go too big of a size when they get them and lose power or break things trying to turn them. Riding in a truck on them going 65 is like riding a hardtail Harley, and sounds like a B-24, very much not a road tire.
  13. I'd love to have Boggers on mine, but don't have the money to throw around on them. I'll stick with regular radial MT treads until I win the lottery or something....
  14. Yep, and for heavy pitting use a wadded up piece of aluminum foil. For painting, probably the best thing (if you have the access or ability) would be to sand blast them.
  15. If it rusted through, it'll be hard to weld it since the rust is probably all through that pipe and flange. I'd price a new intermediate pipe to replace it. That pipe is only about 2' long, has a flange to meet the y-pipe and another one to meet the cat. It also has the O2 sensor bung in it. I'm looking at getting a larger diameter one for mine since it is the choke point in my exhaust now.
  16. Mine has a bad spot in the contact at the wheel. I have to turn the wheel a little to make it work sometimes. I've been to lazy to pull it apart and fix it.
  17. He was the "trigger man" if I read it right. IIRC the initiating driver (or their insurance) gets to pay for all, but only cited once, then each consecutive vehicle's driver gets cited as well. At least that's how it worked here the last time I got in a bump-fest. I was the front of the line, 4 cars total, the guy that started it never even stopped (which may be the reason he had to cover all the damages not sure), he pushed 2 cars into the back of me. Funny part about it, he had just let his insurance lapse, but they still covered the damages, however he got charged with not having any by the cops and dropped perminantly by that company.
  18. Hey man, I got the stock bumper off my 88 laying here, if you can't find anything at the J-yard just let me know.
  19. You do realize he has (or had last I knew) like 5 Pathfinders of various years?
  20. "Give em to Canada, they'll buy anything"
  21. Yeah, yeah. I'm fine with my 88 as is though. If I swapped it would be for a VH45.
  22. I have both and have wheeled them, only wish would be MPI on the 2dr, but it works fine offroad as is.
  23. You are basically running 31 x10.50 , 31.2 x10.8 is what yours actually convert to.
  24. If you are doing the compression rod bushings, be prepared to have to replace the rods too. The rods tend to wear through before the bushings go bad.
