  2. When you pulled the distributor cap off was there any reddish/brown/gold dust or flakes? VG33 are known for the distributors failing. When it went on my roommates frontier it would idle, but stall out with any application of throttle. If you’re sure the timing is right id start there. You would only need to pull the top cover anyway. Line up the balancer first mark with the arrow on the cover, that’s TDC. Then the upper marks should be lined up.

  3. I think we need to start a SW chapter to rival the PNW chapter that's been growing steadily.

  9. Thanks for the info on the deflector! Yeah, my Pathy and I are from Chico, California. I drive her out there every year to visit friends and family. I’m always amazed by the number of Pathfinders and QX4s I still see on the road there! Trying to keep the old girl clean here in Ohio is a pain in the you-know-what. Complete and utter hell here for anybody who loves their car! LOL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Went out to get dirty today and did just that. Absolutely loved these muddy/rocky trails. l Easily out wheeled my brothers 02 4runner, even with his fancy shmancy rear locker . Although when he gets his lift and tires it’ll be a different story. There were a couple of tricky spots such as the first pic and the pics when the truck was in this position, super slick as well. Most of the mud pits had ice on them which made them so much more fun! All in all It was a great day and I fell more in love with my pathfinder which I didn’t know was possible [emoji23]. On my way home I did find out something annoying... my drivers speaker is cutting in and out, it’s been doing it for awhile when I hit big bumps but today it was half way in and half way out so was making some weird noises every 20 mins or so. Annoying but I’m going to check the wires going to the speakers someday when the weather is nice. Just realized I have 3 of the same picture, oops!!

  12. No Pathfinder work this weekend, just a snowmageddon report. It's been coming down heavily all weekend, but that's made for some great explorin'! My Alaskan instincts kicked in and I spent the weekend driving around the Kitsap and eastern Olympic Peninsulas, just lookin' to get lost Put down about 300 miles in two days o_O Snow-driving video. More than a couple of these sightings... Silly dog tax-

  13. Check out the YouTube filter comparisons where they cut them open. I was pretty surprised how bad the basic Fram are, especially when the much better ones are only like a dollar more. It was pretty eye opening.

  14. I have been using the 110 filter for years now. It holds a lot more oil in it which I like. Never once had an issue with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
