Pathfinder-jay
Hey guys, Havent been around lately to ask any questions since ive been working every spare hour on my truck hehe. Anyhow I went to get a quote on how much it is to redue the seats and its way to pricy, and to even get custom seat covers its way to pricy. I want to find some seats at the junkyard or something but Im curious to know what seats can fit in my truck. And I mean matching front and back seats if possible. Ive heard some talk about xterra's but I dont want to go out and buy something that wont fit so does anyone have any advice? Please let me know asap Thanks Jay
RedPath88
Trial and error.. or measure everything twice before buying. The hardest part will be to find something that will properly fit the rear. Edited May 22, 2006 by RedPath88
unccpathfinder
wheelmanLS1 has front and rears from a 95 they're really clean (im helping him with the part out) i could take pix if ure interested and its the split back seat shipping would be from 28262 u'd have to PM him about a price just took pix i'll post them later...theres 2 small stains in the front seats but they should easily come out with some resolve and/or a steam cleaner (my 87s were coffee stained and i used a bistle and they came out) and the back seat has 1 tear but other than that they're good i'll try to post pix in a couple hrs added pix Edited May 22, 2006 by unccpathfinder

RedPath88
If a seat will physically fit, it can be used. Just a matter or making mounts that will work... I don't think a lot of people have done what you are asking (mostly talking about the rear seat - the fronts are pretty simple)
Pathfinder-jay
:help: anyone got some more ideas about rear seats?
Guest thorsen
I did the same thing to my old 95 XE. I used the heated leather seats from a later model. They bolted right in.

nige
I don't think there's gonna be any other rear seat out there that fits a nissan pathfinder better than a set of rear seats out of a nissan pathfinder
Guest thorsen
Ya but im more looking for a good fit for my back seats... Sorry, should have been more clear. I did front and back. They fit good. You seem like the kind of guy to over-analyze stuff. Stop worrying and do it.
El Pathfindero
--EBAY IS YOUR FRIEND-- you can find pleather seat covers that just replace the cloth you already have for like $60 a set and i think $150 for real leather

BFL
If you have the time and the $. Katzkin should have some replacement skins for your seats. You take the old off and the new goes on. We've used them quite a few times and have been pleased with the results. No more guessing if it will fit or how it will work. I know your trying to save $ but it's not always easy. http://katzkin.com/05/FC/mainFS.html Here's the link just in case
El Pathfindero
ok ok should have worded that differently......they're like the katzkin ones BFL mentioned: you take off your old upholstery and put this stuff on

RedPath88
They can be found.. I replaced my Yota's original buckets with a JY set from a Nissan 200SX.. they were actually in really good shape... BUT they were the only ones in the yard that were worth taking

dagwoodzz
Rear bucket seat would be a cool idea. 1 rear bucket seat would be unique. (3-seater) Don't know how often you get back seat passengers, but no back seats make for boocoo cargo room. You could put three 12's back there. Mount them on a custom rail. If you need the room, roll em out. You said ideas.
