ever put a small block V8 in one?

Sure, I've seen a few. One was in a HB pickup, one was a 2-door Pathy. The Pathy had a 383, TH400, AtlasII, Ford 9" rear and D44 front. Money was obviously not an issue for him...

 

Almost anything is possible with time and money. If you just want to know if it's possible, then yes. It will fit. You gotta figure out how, though.

Are you talking about that white Pathy with the thing on the bonnet? If so, didn't you notice that the live axle has not got a drive shaft?

Yeah, that's the one. I talked to him a few years ago and he had the front driveshaft made up and working. It just needed to be fabbed up when the pics were taken.

I have heard a 350 fits in the wd21's with some new engine mounts. I saw one once online, it might have been the white one, not sure. But it looked like there was a lot of custom fab work under the hood.

Yeah, he had to relocate the radiator under the front core support and do a bunch of cutting and welding it back together. No big deal if you have the time and a welder.

theres a write up somewhere of 1 in a HB and i think 4x4parts have the relocation mounts for the motor..in the write up it said something about a low profile starter, dist., hugger headers, and some other stuff...

 

sounds to me tho that it would be a lot easier to pull a body off of 1 take ure measurements have some1 fab up a tube chassis/frame with roll cage floor panels and all that good stuff...that would allow the body to slip over that and mount up....i guess kinda like a monster truck deal where u can change diff body styles but its all the same "truck" pretty much
