I deleted my pre-cat with a custom bent pipe and half gutted my big cat. I've unbolted my muffler before and it's pretty loud. I actually bolted the muffler back on because the noise was bugging me on the long drive to work.

My tachometer does the same thing that your speedo does (slowly rising the longer I drive) and a nissan tech guy in AZ told me it was a bad ground to the ecu, he said he sees them a lot. He said I could fix it myself, but I just never got around to it. But everything else in my dash works (except my dimmer control, still can't figure that one out.) so I don't know if your problem would be related to that or not.

Well, I'm finally in the "break-in" stage. I just rolled over 100,000 in my baby and she's running like a champ. Really need to change that timing belt and water pump though so it'll stay that way.

I have a pretty huge tranny cooler on mine mounted to the back of the radiator (which has cardboard in front of it right now) and it's been down in the negatives a few times here and I didn't see a problem, seemed to drive/shift just fine.

Oh my gosh, you're one of THOSE people. Well, I now know I can't say anything to you because you probably won't listen. But I''ll give it a small shot. Haven't you read/seen the various stuff going around that totally disproves videos like "loose change" point by point? Come on man, bush has done some not so great things but he didn't kill thousands of his own civilians just for a reason to start a war. And as for the not voting thing. I voted last presidential election, and my vote didn't come close to counting. Bush won by a freakin landslide. Plus it always comes down to the one swing state where they actually count things like absentee votes (which normally don't even get opened) and pay closer attention to the actual votes. Our system is so screwed up with corrupt politicains on both sides, it just pisses me off and makes me kind of not care, sorry. You've got opinions that I think are screwed up and I've got some that you think are screwed up and I still go to work every day to defend your (well, people that think the same as you, since you're in AU and I'm technically not defending "your" rights) and my right to them. That's why america is still great despite it's messed up political system. At least we can have opinions.

I don't vote because I'm in North Dakota. If you vote republican, it doesn't matter because they will win by a landslide and don't need your vote, if you vote democrat, well, see republican reason. Plus, to quote the mighty south park, "You're always going to have to choose between a douche and a turd sandwich." It always comes down to two asses no one really likes but you have to pick one if you want your vote to even remotely mean anything. A phrase I like to use is: "Our election system has come down to voting for the one you hate the least." Sorry, I'm a little off topic. And I think Bush isn't doing all that bad. The war on terror isn't going to end, it's just going to move around. People need to realize that. Plus, if we're fighting them over there, they don't have a lot of time or opportunity to attack us over here.

QFT I just hope we don't get the other Clinton in the white house next election. A few of my friends and I were only semi-joking about considering getting out of the military if she takes over.

Ya, I just liked the nissan mini truck thing they were doing though. I'm not sure if they're done yet though. They've had 2 episodes and I missed the second, I hope they rerun it or something. But other than that I can't stand that 'roid head on there that always seems like he's growling or something. I wish they would just work on vehicles and not (poorly) read scripts, it's so cheesy.

maybe they're better now. but when i was shopping for an mp3 player the 2 big complaints everyone had was that they only lasted 6-8 hours tops and sound quality sucked. that was over a year ago now though. and I had heard recently that the battery life had improved some. but I still hate the fact that everyone and their brother has one. haha plus iTunes turns everything into acc or whatever format on the iPod and then no one else can use the crap unless they get iTunes and I don't know if it will convert back to mp3 or not, but that's G-A to the Y! I like to share music on occaision. sharing is caring hehe

well if you want to jump on the bandwagon and buy an overpriced, low battery life, low sound quality mp3 player that has "awesome covers that come in different patterns and colors" be my guest, I live to higher standards of music and electronics quality. and not liking apple computers is just more of a preference, although every one I've used (including a g4) seemed slow to me.

I hate apple and most things with a lower case "i" in fromt of them, haha.

I tried that and it says i need iTunes and I don't know if I want to put that crap on my computer, plus i think you have to pay for it anyway, and I'd prefer not to if I can help it

you can get the episodes on podcast or whatever too. but i hate ipods so i'd have to go dvd i guess, if i miss it that is.

I was watching the "power block" today and they were talking about it right before extreme 4x4 started, although, I know I heard it before and forgot because they were all reruns today. EDIT - I just looked on the site and I think it was a new episode, the ranger just broke again like it did before I guess. :confused: Not sure when next season though, just "next season". And they were messing with project ranger (kind of old) so maybe it's this season. I hope so! Also on "trucks!", even though it's gotten kind of gay, they are dropping and bagging a hardbody, which I've always loved. There's been one episode with them starting it, c-notching the frame and stuff. Haven't seen another installment yet, but it looks like it's gonna be cool. Just FYI
