ahardb0dy
So anyone that owns one of these, either a 2wd or 4x4 hardbody with the KA24 engine, 5 speed preferably, what kind of MPG do you get?
nismothunder
I know a ricer that gets mid 20s in a 4x2
SkiBumBrian
I got high 20s regularly no matter how I drove. On road trips to Sac and the coast if I kept it under 65 and drafted with the trucks I got mid 30s. One tank I measured 38.6.
ahardb0dy
Was talking to one of my neighbors before, his son (not a young kid), has a 2wd Hardbody 5 speed and he was telling me the truck goes through some gas. Of course everyone would be different based on engine condition and driving style, but I figured the 4cyl had to get better MPG than the VG30
cvdloc
A bit confused on the ka24? Mine is a z24 gets great mileage compared to the pathy vg30, but since speedo doesn't work lol I'd have to guess at around 20... Yes it's a stick
ahardb0dy
think the Z24 came first (86 - 89) but the newer hardbody's had the KA24E (90 - 97)
