new noise

My truck just made a noise it never had before its always made a dinging sound when the door is opened and the key in the ignition but this time it dinged and beeped at the same time what is this and more importantly why is it doing it and should i be concerned?

Mine dings when you have the key in or lights on with the door open. But it beeps on start up with the seat belt light...

HAHA my seatbelt light/sensor doesn't work.

Fairly certain we don't have a sensor for the seat belt, the light just goes on for a second or two when the ignition is switched to on, like it's trying to say "You should totally use the seat belt, but I couldn't care less if you actually do"

Gutting that beeper was one of the first mods I did so I'm no help at determining what it does. Couldn't hurt to take a look in the FSM but I don't think it codes for anything.
