cbr900boy
Hey guys, I stumbled upon this Terrano website in Thailand. I don’t read Thai but there are a lot of interesting pictures. Some of these lifts are massive, someone please explain how they were able to do that? TERRANO Site

ahardb0dy
I was actually thinking of doing something like that when I had my hardbody, to eliminate the torsion bars Edited May 19, 2011 by ahardb0dy

Dowser
So are you saying thats a way to eliminate the Torsion bars all together? I've never seen that sort of setup before. Would be interesting to see more on that whole setup.
RedPath88
Several familiar trucks appear there, such as THIS ONE (fourth pic down, post 254) Several of 88's pics are on pg10 Edited May 19, 2011 by RedPath88
ahardb0dy
I had (still have) a set of shock hoops and was going to do a coil over off the upper control arm to the hoop, but people were saying it wouldn't be strong enough to support the vehicle, guess it could have been judging by those pics. Figured if you did a coil over you could eliminate the torsion bars and just set your ride height by adjusting the coil.

nismothunder
Good god, did you see those ball joints!! If your looking for a long travel front end (only reason for running coil overs IMO) I would start with a TTB front end.
