Rear Wiper

OK,

I've done some searching & haven't found any helpful info. Ever since I bought the Pathy, the rear wiper hasn't worked. I'm thinking the motor is shot. I figured for a cheap fix, it it works, I bought a relay from Rock Auto for $5.00. Now, I'm trying to find where the damn relay is.....Not with the others under the hood, & not in the rear hatch behind the panel with all the mechanisms. Anyone have a clue where the rear wiper relay is located? Under the dash?

Thanks for all your help.

By the way, I put a new starter in my Pathy two days ago & forgot how much of a PITA it is. Starts though.

Are those relays behind the cargo panels? If so, that's gunna be a bitch!

Thanks for the layout though.

I guess it's time to head to the garage & see what I can find.

Thanks a million!

Check to make sure it is not seized. I thought mine was burnt out too but turns out the thing was seized. Try lubing it on the outside of the hatch between were it moves and where it doesn't. You might have to "help" the arm across the window for a bit.

nah, that's the 1st thing I checked. All connections were solid. I even cleaned them really good. The sprayer works to the rear window, but not the wiper, so if the relay is good, it has to be the motor.

Well, motor was shot. Since I was putting on all new belts, since two of them shredded off on a trip, I decided to replace the rear wiper motor also. Everything works like a charm now. Well, except for the knock sensor. Still need to replace that.
