chevy83
ok so i have a 92 pathy. when i got the truck the ac was disconnected and the condenser and pump were gone. i was able to round up all the parts i needed to get the system back in the truck. my only issue is when i got to installing the belt the one the auto store gave me seemed too long? i took it back and got one that measured out to the length using the string method. but it is hitting the water pump. where the old clutch fan would bolt up. i do not have the clutch fan anymore, instead i am using the taurus fan mod. is there supposed to be a tensioner puller or an idler pully? i think i might be missing something here. any help would be awsome. thank you
beastpath
Yes, there is a tensioner that the ac belt attaches to above the water pump (edited because i put the wrong info initially) Edited May 18, 2010 by beastpath

ZombeeXXX
But if you pull it from a j.y. you'll know where it goes back on the motor.
darkestskydiver
that's prob the route i'm gonna take. all the auto stores i have looked at only sell the pully. i need the whole assembly. bracket and all.

GrimGreg
Yeah, the pully is kinda worthless without the mount plate, lol.
