Just ran across these at my local 4wheelparts store. If the store has them in stock they are the same price there. But if you do not have a store near you you can order them online. They are on sale for 29.99 and ship free this weekend only. Get them while they last.

Damn, I have to pay for tools to air down??

And I thought the knob on the back of the air gauge was there for a reason...

:D

B

I guess they're supposed to be faster and automatically air down to a set PSI?

I dunno the air gauge or a small key works fine for me...

They look the same as my Staun Tyre Deflators , have been using them for about 3 years now and glad i paid A$70 for them . Have mine set at 12psi and i Love them . Make life very easy for dropping pressures for beach or bush . For example : Pull up at the servo ( 1/2 klm from beach ) screw them on and walk inside to get pilchards ( bait ) , pay then return to car unsrew Deflators and straight up the beach .

Have made my life much easier and now my mates have also bought them . So were either lazy or can't count that good . lol.

There is a mob on Ebay selling snatch straps with a gift set of deflators, they look like Stauns, but I cant see them giving them away. Are probably the Smitty's

i know people swear by the Staun deflators, but i've tried them on a friend's truck and it's still not as convenient as my ARB EZ-Deflator (or similar). it's designed to remove the valve core but keep it contained within the tool. it has a gauge to monitor air pressure as you air down. you can air down 34s from 38psi to 15psi in about 15sec. and at $35, it's much cheaper than the ~$60 Staun deflators.

for as much beach fishing as i do, they're a worthy addition to the glove box.

I got a set of Stauns on trade from a guy instead of $$$ when he owed me. I've used them a few times, but it is hard to get them set just right. I thought I had them all preset for 17psi before a trip(tested each one till it was set), when I went to air up after the run 2 of my tires were at 11psi, and 2 were at 15psi.
