After looking on line and reading a lost of posts here is a list of mods that i thinking about for my pathy (available funds determines oder in which gets done first):

1. Electric fans

2. Warn Manual Hubs

3. NGK platnium/iriduim plugs

4. Upgraded plug wires

5. Tranny cooler

6. 02 Sensors

7. Custom exhaust

8. Additives, such as seafoam etc..

Can any one please tell me what i would see the best result in doing and the cost effectivness of doing these. Also is there an order in which i should try and perform these mods? If i can perform all these mods will there be a big increase in MPG or just performance(which isnt all bad)

My main goal is to get better than around 12 MPG city.

Thanks

breathing mods will help mileage the most. I got my other car from 32 to 42mpg with a full exhaust and intake (that includes header and intake manifold). I hope to get some good response from the pathfinder with a custom header and exhaust and some form of intake. I haven't come up with a viable design just yet. But basically I've found that by tuning header primary lengths you can get power to peak at your cruising rpm and get even better mileage than you would otherwise. Same goes with the intake side.
